I think it has a lot to do do with not being tossed to the world when they hit 18. There is a lot of good in staying with family in your early adult years. Just in place of a republican propaganda agenda make it a no agenda philosophy. Thinking this through as I type I realize it would never do well as people want to hear what it is they believe not think for themselves. I feel the opposite, nurture your children as long as they need it. I had a brother that lived with my parents until they both passed.
