But at the same time there never should have been the first civil war. Lincoln went against his own beliefs and paid for it with his own life. 600k Americans died when we could have just had 2 countries. There was absolutely no reason for Lincoln to start that war. I am generally a very peaceful man. I fight only when I fee threatened. I was suggesting, with an element of tongue in cheek, that if the country were to be divided, an equitable distribution would be a huge sticking point.
