RedZone
Be a real shame if Noxubee County folds up shop..........they look to have a solid group coming back this year. No. 5 Noxubee County Tigers Head Coach: Tyrone Shorter 2017 Record: 11-4 (Class 4A State Champion) Starters Returning: Offense: 6 Defense: 8 Players to Watch: WR/DB Maleik Stallings; WR Kyziah Pruitt; RB Jaqualyn Smith; WR Jeffrey Malone; ATH Tyrese Hopkins; DB Keymarcus Jackson; LB Eldrick Hopkins; LB Chaokang Brooks; DL Verdell Clemons; DL Malcomn Purtue; SS JaQuarius Jamison. Coach Speak: “At Noxubee County expectations are always the same and that’s a state championship or bust. If we can get some OK play by our quarterback, then we will be alright this year. We feel really good about this team, and the guys have been working hard and are excited about the season,” Shorter said. Outlook: Noxubee County has a veteran group back and will be once again seeking its fourth Class 4A state title in the last five seasons. Khristopher White will be the new quarterback for the Tigers this year after playing defensive back last year and will have plenty of weapons to spread the ball around to. Wide receivers Kyziah Pruitt (1,223 yards, 13 touchdowns) and Maleik Stallings (201 yards, 2 touchdowns) return along with running back Jaqualyn Smith (1,039 yards, 7 touchdowns) to help lead the offense. Linebacker Chaokang Brooks (90 tackles, 19 sacks in 2017) returns to anchor the veteran Tiger defense along with defensive tackle Verdell Clemons (49 tackles) and linebacker Eldrick Hopkins (76 tackles). Stallings and Keymarcus Jackson (four interceptions last year) will anchor the secondary. Season Opener: Aug. 17 at Starkville
BUFORDGAWOLVES
Everything's pointing towards the superintendent at Noxubee. Hopefully that's a quick and easy excision and school goes on. Regards BGW

ECHS05
Not 1 of Pearl, Madison Central, Oak Grove, or Oxford in the Top 100? Not sure I've seen that before. Warren Central is usually in that 5-10 range also.
