if the game was in Mississippi I’d like MSst chances, but at LSU I like LSU by 10-14.

The line scares me....LSU-6.5. You can argue LSU is the most overachieving team all year. I knew they were going to lose to florida and miss state plays sort of like florida. Would not surprise me if this was a 3 point game

Line has moved to -6 LSU. It was 7 a couple days ago. Lots of money headed towards miss state

Ehh I do like Miss States Defense, but LSU is much more capable of moving the ball on offense and is pretty well balanced.   Can Miss State throw enough to make LSU honest?   I just don't see it.  Miss St with their D will have a shot though if the turnovers go their way.

Miss state only gave up 13 to florida. LSU gave up more than that to florida.

Miss state now also only scored 6 against florida LSU scored more than that.

Miss St couldn't do much of anything on Offense though.  Florida beats Miss St again I think if they played again, but I wouldn't feel great about playing LSU again.

The play is MSU or nothing,  but I don't trust Fitzgerald. He's awful at throwing the ball.  MSU has to rush for 200+ yards to win this game or keep it close.  I don't see how MSU doesn't wear out in the 4th without rushing for that many yards.

Fitzgerald was 14-23 180 yds 2 TD 0 INT and he rushed 14 times for 88 yds and 2 TD last year.

Miss St beat us 37-7.

I don't really care about any of that though. We just need to win the game by a point.

Dan Mullen led team.  I think it will be a lot different this year.

Maybe, but Joe Moorhead is doing 100% better than a lot of the "big first year names"...

Anyways, hope you are right...

Yeah, if I was a Mississippi St fan, I wouldn't be complaining.  They haven't lost to anyone they shouldn't lose to and haven't looked like dumpster fire.

Aeris Wiliams 23 rushes for 146 yards. He's barely getting the ball this year.

Mississippi State rushed for 285 yards, and like NPTB mentioned, that was a Dan Mullen led team.

What's your point by bringing up Hill?

You mentioned last year's game,  and I brought up Aeris Williams who ran all over LSU.

3 for 6 with 2 interceptions to start the game off.
