Cities always have big trouble. They always have everywhere at all times. Rome was a dirty, violent place two thousand years ago when it was the largest city on Earth. So was London in the mid-nineteenth century. I think you might confusing correlation with causation. But maybe not. It would be interesting to compare cities that are similar in relevant respects but differ with respect to which of the two parties governs them.

PS excusing other cities bad behavior is not valid in this case... Which others? What are the Republican-run counterparts to NYC, Chicago, LA, etc. which are doing better? Nolebull813
If Colon Krapernick and his scum bag buddies really gave a damn about Black lives they would be doing less to endanger the police who protect these communities and more hands on crisis mode action. There should be thousands deep in cities like Chicago and Detroit shutting down neighborhoods and communities demanding that the violence stop. It should look like a Martin Luther King Jr speech. Instead they are teaching the youth to resent law-enforcement which will only repeat the cycle. There are gay parades all over the country to celebrate taking it up the rear. Surely there can be A true black lives matter parade in all the major cities of the country to try and help curb the sheer violence that plagues it
