Duncanville could have just as easily scheduled a team surrounding them in the DFW area if they wished. (Provided one is available). National schedule is not as important to them like you are making it out to be. Also...isn't this some type of classic a promoter set up? It's not like Duncanville seeked this game out. Sorry for late response....Im at work.

Depends on how they lost. Were they dominated start-to-finish or was it close till the end? Escambia won and deserved credit (despite your "sandbagging 😁"). They were the better team that day according to scoreboard. All that matters...well...to most.

Rummel was without 6 starters (4 major) including our kicker and still lead 8-6 heading into the 4th quarter vs Escambia. A very ugly game just got more ugly for Rummel in the 4th. It happens. The next week wasn't much better as we had to kick a FG with a couple seconds left to beat one of the worst teams in La last year...Riverside. Playing without star receiver and USC commit Koy Moore (hamstring) and running back Logan Diggs (high ankle sprain), the Rummel offense sputtered outside of its opening drive and one big play in the second half." 1
NYHSFAN33
I hope there is a stream for the Rummel v Charlotte Catholic game. CC has had some talented teams and am looking forward to see how that one plays out.

He was another player that missed the first 4 games of the last year. Rummel was really banged up last year early. https://crescentcitysports.com/recruiting-rummel-defensive-back-corey-smooth-commits-to-nicholls/ Tim Rebowe has built the Nicholls Colonels into a force in the Southland Conference and in the FCS of college football. They have done it by recruiting primarily in south Louisiana. That trend continues. The latest area star to commit to Nicholls is Archbishop Rummel defensive back Corey Smooth, who made his announcement via Twitter Wednesday evening. Smooth (6-0, 180) missed the first four games of his junior season but came on late in the year to make his mark. Smooth is part of a fast, talented defense at Rummel which includes Quinton Cage, South Alabama commit Jordan Williams and Vanderbilt commit Donovan Kaufman, among others. Nicholls St is ranked Preseason #13 tihs year and plays in the strongest FCS Conference in the Nation. Look it up. NICHOLLS Coach Tim Rebowe and his staff have mixed up a magic formula of finding great local talent and molding it into one of the most physical programs in the Southland Conference. Thus the reason the Colonels have become accustomed to the FCS postseason. Expect another berth this fall.

Nolebull813
Charlotte Catholic rolls big time! I’m telling you, having a bunch of players back from a team who loses by multiple scores to teams ranked outside the thousands you’re in for big trouble!!! Rummell doesn’t have the chest to win a big time game like this
