1. STA- Best resume. Quality OOS wins on road. Undefeated. Tough 7A Fla.

2. North Shore- Won hardest title to obtain on state level in HS football. Avenged loss against Katy. No OOS.

3. MD-  Great team. Slipped up in playoffs against inferior opponent (see Lakeland, then Armwood in FL 7A). Dominated  tough schedule.

4. SFA- Dominant with tough schedule. Out performed in the moment by MD in Cali. If game in Maryland, SFA may be NC .

5. Marrietta- Probably best team in country at end of season, but two in state losses.

HM-

IMG, SJB, Duncanville, Miami NW, Lowndes, Lakeland, Dutch Fork, Corner Canyon, St. Louis, Westlake, Pickerington, SPP, Rummell, DLS, Lincoln Way ILL,

California guys, if MD won out, NOBODY would argue their right to being one of the all-time teams and unanimous NC. But to give a "unanimous NC" to a team essentially based on one win is ridiculous. Their OOS wins were trash. While SJB was an excellent team, very talented and well coached, they aren't deserving of a "unanimous" NC. Not even close.

Outside of MD and maybe SFA, there really were no "dominant" teams this year that should have been considered material for a "unanimous" NC.

STA was a deserving candidate but what hurt them against SJB was the head to head scores vs DLS.Fair or not you understand polls are going to take that into account

If they both had won by 10 points then SJB would still have been unanimous MNC.

SJB was going to get every MNC because it was baked in the cake weeks before the season was over.

Even if SJB was the 15-0 team and STA was the 13-1 team, SJB still would've won.

Nothing tangible actually mattered.

So Katy beats NS and NS avenges Katy Later in season but plays no OOS games and it’s state playoff is a two team competition between NS and Duncanville

SJB loses to #1 team in nation then avenges its loss against MD in Playoffs, plus all the OOs games, I can’t believe this is even an argument

Why don't you take a look at Texas 6A? Too much week in and week out tough games. 2 team playoff? Lol. 64 team playoff. 6 rounds. Any team from a state with 4 rounds, at the most, doesn't truly appreciate that grind.

6A D1 Teams of note:

North Shore

Duncanville

Katy

Midland Lee

Southlake Carroll

DeSoto

Skyline

Permian

Trinity

Lamar

Allen

Martin

Lake Travis

Cy Fair

Pearland

These are teams that qualified this year. There are more good teams in this one Texas bracket than in most of California. Stop being ridiculous.

North Shore “squeaked by” Dobie 54-0 in the first round. Yeah, that’s a real grind.

There is a reason for local regional boards.  You should spend the next month or so honing What has devolved into your “C” game.

While your there, ask your homies how many Fla state champs lost OOS this year.
