It still carries much more prestige then Baylor and Washington ever will. There's a reason USC fires coaches(or they're on the hot seat) that go 9-3 routinely.  That's a great year at both of those other schools

Where he's at is irrelevant.  This kid was rated as the top LB in the country by some sources

28-14 says all I need to know about Wash and USC.

wash in #2 in Pac12 in recruiting for 2020.

Recruits look at wins and losses h2h.  They also look at recruiting trends and USC is trending down.  Fact!

USC has/had a coach in limbo. That was the biggest reason for their recruiting shortcomings.

H2H matters when two programs are blue bloods.  Baylor and Washington are not that. Oregon I'd give you(they at least have some tradition now and top notch facilities),  but Washington,  hell no

USC is ranked 10th in the pac12 in recruiting for ‘20.  They are trending down.  Obviously not viewed the same as in years past.  WA has been top 2 in the pac12 the past 2 cycles.  Right now, they aren’t viewed the same by recruits.  It is what it is

USC was 3rd last year when they finished 5-7. They finished 8-5 this year and with the talks of Helton being fired fell to 10th in the rankings.

That's all that has to do with

That’s fine, still recruits took all that into consideration.  WA still holding strong.

On second look, Baylor is in the same boat as USC with coaching changes so they dropped in recruiting from ‘19 as well

Back to the topic.

Steeler wil be correct

Duncanville will have another 4 star kid for the 3rd year straight when Crook is ranked.

You didn’t predict this 3 year trend though you’re just reporting on it after the fact

Crook will be a player ranked while in the DV system like many others before him.

I did say transfers last year.  He's a transfer

A not rated one. He’s a high recruit at this point that’s it!   That doesn’t change regardless of how much you repeat it.  When he’s rated he’ll be a player rated within the program.  Just like his other teammates.

BTW there are about 100 ‘22 class kids rated in 247.  Many were rated as early as last fall.
