covercorner Posted July 24, 2017 Report Share Posted July 24, 2017 I'm not so sure MaxPreps has a handle on this. Too many holes in their rankings. They didn't do their homework well because they still mention former players who arent with those teams, one being Manny Allen at CC and a player at Bergen Catholic. Centennial is WAY to high.. not enough in the stable. Its because they ranked them #22 last year and they played way better than that ranking. So MaxPreps doesn't want to sleep on CC again, but we all know, they don't have more than one legit WR, or RB's and a defense. OL and QB is their strength. period. Long Beach Poly #10 is too high as well. If it weren't for Corral and LA Hawkins boys they wouldn't have much. But 4-5 new players doesnt make them jump that high for a national ranking.
