Kid Is an adult 18, from what I'm hearing he instigated the whole situation. Also the kid put his hands on Mr.Tedesco first, resulting in an open hand slap to Mr.Suazo's face. Now he wants to press charges? Messed up society we live in. I know if someone puts their hand on me they get the same.

Reading the articles it seems as though the kid's dad is seeing dollars.  Coach probably shouldn't have slapped the kid and will probably lose his job but I doubt anything else comes out of it criminally if the description above is accurate.  We may see a civil lawsuit.

Yeah no way this story is legit.  I got sucker punched?   Thought we were cool?!  High School kids are so dumb in general.

The kid is probably embellishing. No doubt about that.

The article isn't fake news though. The baseline is that the coach struck the kid. 18 or not, it was a ward and his guardian and the ward was struck.

Everything else is just spice. The article says alleged and isn't reporting anything as a definite.

Exactamundo. The former player and his father have been disgruntled ever since he transferred from QP thinking he was going to be gifted the starting QB position instead of having to earn  it on the field. #sourgrapes

Safe to say he wasn't as good as Andrew Brito. Despite his stature that kid could ball.

That's what it looks like to me. Why would he even go to the game in the first place? To support PC vs. Barringer on 7 on 7? Come on now... Obviously he had a personal issue with the coach, but I'm just speculating.

Plus he was asked to leave the field multiple times before the incident occurred but wouldn't. He wasn't authorized to be on the field yet felt the need to make his way there.

Why werent the cops called? if was asked to leave a school which is private property they could have escorted him off property or did something with him trespassing at that time
