dan in daytona Posted August 2, 2017 Report Share Posted August 2, 2017 John(Tampa Robinson) was one of the famed " Super Sophs " with RB Tommy Durrance (Mainland) and WR Carlos Alvarez(North Miami) for the Florida Gators in the late 1960's. Back then Freshman didn't play on the Varsity. They each had a decent 3-year run for the Gator offense.
