Princeton should schedule one FBS program and see what happens.

Last year, yes.

Who knows how much they graduate? That was a special ivy Team ....

Princeton beat Lehigh 66-7.

Colgate got the 8 seed in fcs playoffs, a first round bye, and beat  fcs powerhouse in second round JMU.

Colgate beat Lehigh 48-6

Princeton barely squeaked by Dartmouth at home too (I know because i lost a lot of money on the game)

Princeton wouldn’t of lost in playoffs until they ran into the bison. And Dartmouth would of been a handful too.... the big green only lost one game..... to guess who? Princeton.

Princeton vs Rutgers every year. That was the first college football game. They are close to each other. Makes sense to play every year.

They graduate 25 seniors this year

I think DraftKings or Fan duel got sued by N.J. because I think they are not allowed to make bets on N.J. teams   And they did a Princeton or Rutgers bet on the Sportsbook,,,, they got in a lot of trouble for that

Yea, that’s a lot of seniors.

I’m pretty sure every starting offensive linemen on Dartmouth was a senior too..... hard to reload after that.

and that’s a fact

I think you are 100% correct. I watched 3 of their games this season. They were really talented and had a great chemistry. Also very well coached, very sound football.

The Ivy League, in Particular the Big 3 of Harvard/Princeton/Yale, get many 3 & 4 Star players that chose them over Power 5 offers. So there is high end talent on those teams. Talent that Rutgers barely gets. Bergen Catholic DE from 4 or so Years ago, Kurt Holuba had Standford, Michigan and a few other Power 5 offers and chose Princeton. I want to say he was a 4 star? Not sure on that though.

But what makes the Ivy League so interesting is every year is different. Very hard to win the Championship back to back seasons. It is really the last League in FBS/FCS football where the majority of starters are Seniors and some juniors. So every year there is a large turnover in starters.

For example the last time a school won back to back outright Ivy League Championships was UPenn 09 & 10. Before that was UPenn 02 & 03. Before that was also UPenn 93 & 94. Just about Once a decade is not much at all compared to just about any other league in America. Hell the last time a University won 3 in a row? UPenn 84, 85, 86. And that is the only time in the Ivy League’s 62 year history!! (Since 1956 the formation of the modern day 1aa Ivy League).

It is very hard to build a multi year dynasty in the Ivy League, which makes it so fun to watch every year. A very balanced league.

Sorry for going off on a Ivy League tangent, just a big fan of that League

I like watching it cause these kids aren’t worried about espn tv Fame or Twitter or anything Like that.

 They are  focused 100 % on Books 📚 & Ball 🏈

even on the field .. idk just watching them it’s just like there no Players on those teams that are Me Me Me Players and they all play as 1 team
