Shady12
San Angelo out gained Allen 385-324 in yardage. It would have been a bigger disparity and different game in the second half if San Angelo QB Cal Vincent had played. He was 15-20 154 yds 2 TDs, 51 rushing yards and 1 TD in the first half. Tough to lose that production against Allen.
Jack Reacher
Listening on netcast, with a few minutes left in the game and Allen up by 13 points and having had success running the ball, why were they chunking the ball downfield so much? Trying to run up the score on SAC?

It's raining, it's cold, you're up by 13 points with 5 minutes remaining. Run the ball, run the clock, get on the bus and go home healthy. No doubt in my mind the Allen coach wanted to run up the score a little bit.
noonereal
So a marginal top 25 team beats a marginal top 100 team. Big deal.

The elements caused a lot of busted plays, so I'm not positive, but I wouldn't dismiss that claim.
