Great thread Golf I will post our Finals tomorrow.  I had  a blast out there today getting some Vitamin D on this Melanin and watching some of the fastest HS kids in America.  The 200m was something else along with the Relays.   I will keep it 100 with T&F

I guess I should be a bit embarassed looking at these times. Super fast.

Idk exact times but the Region 1 7A regional times were off of these posted by you guys. 

Colquitt fielded 2 4x100 teams and both put up 43's. I think the fastest was 43.37 and they finished 2nd to Lowndes who put up a 42.38.

I do think that was the first time that a Colquitt relay went sub 44 and both teams did as the 2nd team put up 43.77.

Only one guy from Lowndes went sub 11 in the 100 meters.

Hell, our school records barely touch normal times for some of these schools you guys post times for.

2018 UIL Region II 4-A Championship:  This is Beast Texas and DFW.  These are small 4A Schools.  Beast Texas Speed on full display.  Only the top 2 in each event goes to State.  This is 4A not 5A or 6A and a bunch of towns out in the Piney Woods with populations between 4,000 and 10,000.   They have speed to run with any Big Schools anywhere.   @golfaddict1 @Texasball @westbankeagle

Not bad for some lil old Country boys  They had -2.0 wind blowing into them in the Finals.  

Beast Texas can run with anyone in the Nation with these little 4A Schools and they dominate this State in another Sport.  No one that doesn't know Texas should question the Athletes @ Carthage.

I think FL would drop 13 schools to 18 if I drop to 42 flat   

Lets use 42 flat DD and sorry for your extra work lol if you want to research the ballers w a rating and verbal (seniors), and other info from the younger recruits.

No need to drop it Golf.  This was the regional finals with only 8 teams each in the 4 Regionals.  Now there are only 8 teams left in each Class  42.5 I think should be used going forward>  That way you get to see the depth of speed as the small schools will hit that mark.  This has been a great Track season with some awesome kids.  Like Schwartz and that Pole Vaulter from La. and others.

We are down to State now Sir.  As you know 42.5 is the Gold Standard for 4x100 HS Elites

In Texas 3A we have 4 Schools and these are really small Schools

We’ll figure out another way at state’s end to share the track info of the kids from each respective state w track numbers and recruit info.   Commits, star ratings, etc can help cross reference vs athletic.net list for example.   For the younger kids also offers out there and ratings for many into the ‘20 class.  

We can come up with avg for 100 for positions even and check those mid 11’s with commitments.

I am not posting anything here about football recruits on here.  This is just track sir and the Regional  Results.  I included the 3A 4X100  as just below the Standard's you set.   No football mentioned by me are any position players on this thread.  That had nothing to do with football.  I think you got this thread confused with the other Track one where I directed to Horsefly and Texasball about Longview and Kilgore. I'm keeping this 100 about the regional results you set sir.

Penn Relays:  DeMatha.  The only teams that were faster were Jamaican.  Winning school was in the 39’s.
