Belly Bob
The kid who led Allen of TX to 3 consecutive state championships and who is slated to start at QB for Oklahoma next year has been selected no. 9 by Oakland in the MLB draft. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/23698545/kyler-murray-oklahoma-sooners-chosen-no-9-mlb-draft
On2whls
If he leaves for MLB, it’s probably a good thing for both he and OU. No QB controversy and their offense is suited for more of a drop back passer anyway.

Bormio
If he is the #9 overall pick, he has a better future in baseball.
AztecPadre
He's already told my A's that he intends to play football in the fall and then join them maybe after the season. I'm guessing he wants to see what kind of a year he has first. The A's are ok with him doing that.
ThunderRam
Must be nice to be so talented in both sports. Kyler Murray is a freak of nature. I hope he is able to stick with both sports. BTW Nick Madrigal from Elk Grove HS here in the Sacramento area went #4.
maxchoboian
Loved him as a high school QB, but thought it important that he get proficient hitting off-speed pitches even back then. That's where he can make the $$$.
Grainraiser
He is about 5"9 and can't play any other position. He is a good QB but his game does not translate to the NFL. Last years number 9 pick got a 4 million dollar signing bonus. He would be a fool not play baseball fulltime.

If an athlete is good enough for both sports I always say they should opt for baseball. Great money for a MUCH longer career. I always wished I was good at baseball back in the day, but the only thing I knew how to do was play smashmouth football. I tried baseball and, IF, I actually connected with the ball I could hit it a mile, but that was once in every ten at bats. The other nine I would strike out. Lol. So, I just stuck with football. Loved the Bash Brothers back in the early 90s, btw.
