As they rise to #2 in the recruiting rankings... After falling to #13th or 14th in the recruiting rankings... UGA has picked up 2 5* commits in the last 5 days. 5* DT Travon Walker (Upson-Lee GA) and now 5* RB John Emery (Destrehan LA). After every single prediction for John Emery being for either LSU or Mississippi St ... He went with UGA today. UGA is now 3rd in the recruiting rankings, with 5 5* commits already... Wekivas D was already good, he should take them to another level. With North Gwinnett losing 3 top players, it kinda swings the pendulum over to Wekiva IMO. Im not sure where North Gwinnett stands anymore. Bill Stewart will have North Gwinnett ready to play... But with graduation AND 3 players leaving for various reason ... ((1 3* CB, Warren Burrell, transferred to IMG ... another 4* WR from 2020 quit football to focus on baseball, as he committed to South Carolina recently ... Wouldve been cool if they went OOS, I think they could do some damage. I know Destrehan brings back a lot, but Im sure Zachary will have something to say in 5A.
