No arguments from me on that. I just think out of the 4 teams, Notre Dame doesn't belong. If you need proof of that, just pull up the USC game. Done deal.

then put OU vs Army...this is about winning...all whining Kirby Smart is doing about GA is whining...do not lose then...don't get smoked by LSU...don't get smoked by Purdue...don't just Army by 7 or beat Okie state by 1 or Kansas by 15.....All you can do is win....and win out....Notre Dame deserves to be there and when they beat Clemson...it will be there is no way they can beat bama....

It's not just about winning and losing. It is about context, just as much.

You may go undefeated beating Syracuse and Slappy McUSC, but you wouldn't if you played GA and Auburn. All about context.

You will see how much Notre Dame "deserves" to be there when they play Clemson and get smoked. Does a 2 score underdog in a CFP REALLY deserve to be there?

Than Oklahoma doesnt belong either. Double digit underdog to alabama.

Fine with me. They are very borderline anyways and not likely a top 4 team.

There are two types of teams in college football.....the haves alabama and clemson and the have nots. Everyone else. That's how college football is right now.

Unfortunately the days of texas vs USC and the like are dead for now

GA didn't make it and proved they were right on par with Alabama last week. Some say they should have won. They choked.

first off...no one is smoking ND....pretty sure you have not watched much of their games....Def line is very good maybe not Clemson which is the best in football but very good...LBs / secondary strong....legit off line which will find a way like they did last year beating a top dee line unit in LSU....tall / athletic WR's which will exploit the crap out of clemsons CB.. and a QB who has 70% accuracy throwing the ball....great Rb;s and finally great coaches....you argument is really about not being in a conference ....they 4 ranked teams and 2 conference runners up....with one patsy in ball state vs Clemson (2) ...bama ( 3) really Citadel....OU ( 1)..........

Vanderbilt is a patsy as well. Florida state was garbage as well. WF was a 500 team.

You are aware that ND has an All American at every level of their defense.  The ND pass rush is as good as anyone's in the country.  ND's defense has shown up every week.  Everyone who has a L on their schedule can't say that.

Ya and they are a 2 score dog in Vegas for the game against Clemson. They have no business in that game. They barely beat 5-7 USC and should have lost!

hey...jackass....the schedule is done years in advance #1...they rotate thru the ACC for 4 games each year....so VA tech / FSU / Stanford and USC had were bad this year.....normally all very good teams...schedule is what it is...respect should be given to ND for the fact..they know they cannot lose a game or they are out...,,,

Yes, win your games. But context is everything.

Would ND go undefeated with the same schedule as these teams? No way. That's why they are 2 score underdogs in a CFP game. Inexcusable. They have no shot and will get curb stomped. Watch.

Every team basically goes in thinking they have to be perfect or miss out. Ohio state lost 1 game didnt make it. You have to be perfect. Notre dame with their schedule this year your right had to be perfect because the schedule wasnt good enough to lose 1 game and be considered.

imo then you do not know shit about football then....could give a rats ass about the spread....does the team have the heart / desire /drive / ability to win a national championship....in this case for Notre Dame the answer is yes.....end transmission

we did last year and lost by a point or so......if you recall why do think kelly was so pissed with Deshone Kizer going to the NFL...if he stayed they win that game instead of Winbush making his second start...also recall Quenton Nelson man handling GA defensive line
