(no offers yet) How is it I never hear them being talked about by ya'll? There's only 2 states where we are allowed to discuss more than 10 teams. Texas and Florida. ? Rome was not in the Top 10 in GA, so they get no air time. Perhaps you national gurus should look deeper into Ga football. A lot of very good and talented teams buried 10-25 here. Kinda like how Cedar Grove doesn't get that much attention even tho they have hella D1 guys on their team and won state this year. Nothing against Rome, but they just came up on the scenes, so I'm still trying to figure them out. The only time I seen them play was against Buford in the championship. Agreed, also maybe their location? Not as much of a hot spot as the ATL surrounding areas or South Ga.

Also, Rome High School doesn't have that much history due to the fact that it used to be to separate schools (East Rome and West Rome)

Year after year. They tend to consistently stay in the high school elite. they play each other not predominately not powder puffs. They generally play challenging OOS games. GA is unfamiliar with this. They have a solid team and what? They play Plant when Plant is down and cry that no MNC is awarded. As it is they get over ranked for what they ACCOMPLISH. a 2 win BC team gives national elites all they can handle as we saw. A 2 win GA team means they suck, bad. See the difference. Rome literally came out of nowhere... probably why you havent heard a lot. But they have an excellent coach and good talent. They just won 5A with a bunch of Sophomores & Juniors.... theyll be one of the best in GA in '17.

Your love with Ohio is simply because they play NJ OOS. A PROGRAM doesnt mean shit in the big picture. Rankings are year-to-year. In the Public world, things go around and around/up and down a little more. But you can count on Colquitt, Grayson, Mill Creek (recently), McEachern, North Gwinnett (except for last year), Camden Co (except for last year), Buford ... these are programs. Archer had began to be consistent but had a slight down year last year. Norcross is pretty good most years. Whens the last time you saw Colquitt outside the Top 100 except for last year? Theyd been in DJs top 100 every year from 2010-2015. You just dont know GA teams bc they dont play NJ. The thing about GA is, its been growing like crazy. New schools have been opening left and right. Archer in 09, Grayson in 2000, Mill Creek in the 2005ish range I believe. A ton of new schools. It moves talent around. Thats just a symbol of public schools, but it doesnt mean the programs arent elite. And you mention Plant (for Colquitt) but forget, since 2010, theyve also played South Panola (MNC), state runner up 13-2 Madison Co. FL, state champ Hoover AL twice, state champ AH-Plantation FL, and next year will play Vista Murrieta CA. When you finally realize NJs 3 good teams only go OOS bc they have to, and can bc they are Privates, maybe you stfu. And the most important thing. In Georgia, and most normal states... the playoffs are the most important time of the season... bc they play more than 2 meaningful games. NJs playoffs are pointless, because theres 25 brackets and 2 rounds, and the exact same teams play from the regular season... so NJ teams HAVE to go OOS to matter at all. Pointless and boring playoffs with 25+ Champions. 0 depth of football teams. Same 3-5 teams always win. NJ is the most boring football state in America.
