It got so bad, politics got involved and changed the laws to allow Publics to play by the same rules as private’s. STA has never bought apartments for players or had them provide fake addresses to become eligible. The law was changed because of the aforementioned local squabble between Lakeland and George Jenkins. A local Senator changed schooling policy for the entire state because a bunch of Polk County football parents complained to her. Again, nothing proves the neediness and insecurity of these people more than that.

Nolebull813
I don’t know man. The timing is suspect. It’s one of those “I’m not saying I’m SuperMan, I’m just saying you never seen me and SuperMan in the same room at the same time before” We will never know. Like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop.

They came to STA together as freshmen during the 2002-03 school year. Long before your fantasy time period began. Long before anybody could've known about a coming Lakeland dynasty. If you are an "A" rated school in an affluent neighborhood that is at capacity, the "new rules" really handicap you. Average or below average academic schools can theoretically flourish under the new system because they always have a lot of "open" slots. Don't know if you have the stats or not, but give us a breakdown of how many STA footballers have come from outside of Fort Lauderdale (not Broward) in the last 10 years? You seem to know everything about STA, so you should have at least a ball park idea on that?

This is nothing but sophistry given that the school itself is on the western edge of the city and probably 80% (ballpark figure) of the entire student body comes from nearby suburbs. It's obvious that you would never ask this question about, say, Cardinal Gibbons even though you'd get the same answer. Your obsession with STA is pathetic. It really is.
181pl
It was a legit question. I'm not trying to tie you to City boundaries. Let me rephrase. How many players come from more than of 10 miles from school?
