This is one of them times where we all went to a fight and a marble tournament broke out !!!! Jackie Merritt is well known because of his son...Jeremy. Jeremy played QB for the Packers and as far as I know...he STILL holds the record for the longest run by any Packer QB from the line of scrimmage. I hope Dan Jeter ain't homeless and having to walk the streets. Last I heard...he wasn't...LOL. Gene Childs grew up to be a "wildman"...God rest his soul. Gene was a true competitor. He started a fight with the entire squad of Albany Indians...back in the day. Lots of good people in this tournament. And at least one..."left wing Bernie Sanders Democratic Socialist" who tried to stage a protest about Artie using an illegal marble...(Smile). Amigo, I can hardly remember things from that long ago. Thanks for sharing this. Rufus>> 2

Listen trackman, nobody asked for your input. I read what I read and said what I said. The article clearly stated colquitt countee! Dint say nuffin bout Berlin. Souf Berlin. East Berlin. West Berlin or the chick that sang Take my Breath Away for Berlin. I can have the court reporter read it back to you, if you’d like. 😂

You are correct that the article says Colquitt. HOWEVER...the folks from Berlin are crazy. Rumor is they would fight with their dang shadow if it looked at them wrong. There are some good folk from Berlin but most of them move to the big city. Heck my grandmother tried to teach Rufus a thing or two and probably put the switch to him more than once. Ole Rufus turned out ok so some of the lessons must have sunk in from somebody. Heck he even had enough sense to move out of this mess. One thing is for certain. If you come this way and head from Moultrie to Valdosta you better slow your ass down in Berlin. Them local cops ain't no joke.

Ms. Violet could probably put up a pretty good contra argument....(Smile). You are correct in saying...people in Berlin are crazy. Most of them are my kin. To tell you how bad of a place it is...Rab used to live within walking distance to the Berlin city limits...back in the day. I think he lasted about 18 months before he was....politely asked to leave...(Smile). My two brothers still live in South Berlin. They help with the Lime Sink operations. You're also correct about the Berlin gendarmes. They love seeing OOC (out of county) tags. Hey, I suppose you gotta have some way to pay for them expensive 4-wheel drive police trucks. And just to be clear...I left Colquitt County cause....Ms. Violet left Colquitt County. And I'm a kept man. Rufus>>

That’s the only puzzle piece that matters. I know one did.

We're talking about a faithful brother and son. We're talking about a loyal and standup friend." We're talking about Gene Childs. Kids using weighted, slightly oblong marbles. Cheatin’ sons of bitches!
