Texas is a 7 win team in the big 12 for the past 12 years equals probably 5-7 type team in the SEC.

A&M is the second best team in the West Division.

Crack analysis!

We are talking in the history of their programs. AM is clearly behind Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida. They are equal with Ole Miss, Arkansas type teams.

1939 last time AM won a national title.

The history of their programs hasn't got anything to do with what's going to happen this year (Texas A&M will challenge for the West Division title) and in the future (Oklahoma and Texas will finish at or near the top almost every year).

Texas has not won a conference title in the weak big 12 in 12 years.  AMs best team in 30 plus years did not even make the playoffs or the sec title game and got the piss beat out of them by Alabama.

All these teams you brag on Texas Michigan and Texas AM all suck or average the last decade.  AM has 1 conference title in the last 27 years and beat nobody Kansas State to win it so they suck too.

Oklahoma is an elite program. They can  compete in the SEC.

Tejas is just for money. Their entire history is overblown. They are just like uga when it comes to hype money and never living up to expectations. Oklahoma is just soft and will be beat to death by an all sec schedule.

Atticus good on politics but in the football realm he knows next to nothing. Can tell he never played or coached.

By what? Losing by at least 17 points to bama? If you consider that a challenge it's amazing people like @954gator actually look at you and see someone who knows football

If this was 10 years ago I may have agreed with this but these days the SEC defenses have declined and turned into a offensive heavy conference

Oklahoma may actually end up being a good fit for the current SEC

That's because he didn't

Texas A&M competes in the SEC.

And they were a second-tier program in the Big 12.

Texas and Oklahoma will more than compete.

Remember to come back here when it's all done.

Except since they joined the conference Ole Miss and Auburn have more wins against Alabama then A&M does

This thread has the usual collection of stiffs who don't know anything about college football.

Missouri, in their second year, was a double OT loss away from going undefeated in the SEC.

They followed that up with another 7-1 season the next year.

They had a better conference record in their first 3 years in the SEC than they did in their last 3 years in the Big 12.

Texas and Oklahoma are better programs than Missouri (and Texas A&M).

You're probably 12-years-old and have been told old wives tales your whole life by clowns like HooverOutlaw.

Missouri and Texas A&M did not get "beat to death" by an all-SEC schedule and they were second-tier Big 12 schools.

Please write this down and come back to see me in a few years.

Most money in college football but 1 title in 50 years.

Something about money and Texas equals terrible football see the Dallas cowboys and the entire state in college football.

Hopefully Alabama gets Texas as a regular opponent.

Texas is a 3rd rate program about like AM.

True.

A&M will be much improved on offense this year, but still wont beat Bama.

Yeah and Missouri showed just how pathetic the SEC east was at the time

And I never once claimed Oklahoma or Texas would struggle in SEC, at worst Oklahoma would be 3rd best team in the conference and Texas will be similar to what they were in the big 12

But your the one missing the mark Trying to make it sound like A&M is a contender

Contender for what exactly? Which SEC West team will lose by the smallest margin? Because they sure as hell won't beat bama

The big 12 way of playing has not won a national in the last 15 years.

SEC players are just better and coaches.

Missouri got killed in the SEC title game both years.  SEC was very average then Florida was a mess.

Now they are 3rd rate programs in the SEC . AM having 1 good year last  season does not make them this elite program like you think.

"Big 12 teams will get beat to death every week in the SEC!"

Then....

"OK, they didn't get beat to death but when they played in the conference championship game twice they got killed!"

😄

Even your equivocations are lies.

They most certainly did not get killed by Auburn. That was a shootout.

Two teams full of Big 12 recruits entered the SEC and won right away.

SEC people are utterly deluded fanboys.

They are mostly losers who have nothing going for them and so they get all of their self-esteem from college football. Therefore, they have to create false narratives to make themselves feel good.

They gave up nearly 700 yards to Auburn and lost by 3 score

Lost 4 scores to Alabama.

Only a fool thinks those were close final scores.

Missouri gave 101 points in 2 SEC title games

Next tell us how Harbaugh is going 15-0 this year. You are a spineless fool.
