I've watched film on those guys and my take away is that those Florida offenses are just not sophisticated. A lot of 1 and 2 man routes, sub average QB play with no check down ability. STA gets away with playing man to man because they have the better athletes. Coach Negro is a good friend of mine, and he will not be shy about putting the ball in the air 20+ times. I guarantee that the STA defense trying to play man to man in week 1 will have guys out of position, and this leaves the potential for big plays. With both teams having a strong front 7 I see the opposing offense having a hard time scoring. The offense tends to take longer to gel, also.
