I'm talking about the political stuntmen like Massie, Paul and others. There are several very highly qualified doctors in the fields of epidemiology, public health, virology and vaccines who have questioned or criticized Fauci etc and have been smeared as evil, anti-science monsters. Dr. Fauci and the Coronavirus Policy Blame Game | Opinion Let's play the world's smallest violin. It's funny when people like Kulldorf lament the loss of public trust in science when he has spent the last 18 months undermining public trust in science on Twitter and in publications like Newsweek. Kuldorff’s only supposed misstep is in questioning or criticizing Fauci etc. Thus, the original assertion- that Fauci etc are not allowed to be critiqued- is demonstrated. ANY criticism or disagreement is framed as being “anti-science” or “grift”.

The very same people demanding that they be heard are the ones immediately offended when Fauci defends himself from their attacks.

This is of course a ridiculous and embarrassing claim. "I'm not allowed to criticize Fauci!", says man in Newsweek op-ed who has been featured in Business Insider, the National Review, and has platforms on YouTube and Twitter. The issue is the institutions of legacy media and social media working to shame and silence anyone criticizing him/public health. (This largely explains the backlash against Rogan. It’s mostly a matter of people being mad because criticism and alternative narratives are able to see the light of day on his show.) People have been smeared to hell and back over offering dissenting views on perfectly reasonable issues such as the origins of Covid, or the appropriateness of disciplinary measures. I believe Kulldorf was removed from a major committee over his different views.

The backlash against Rogan is due to him being a meathead who has a massive following who he consistently misinforms. Individuals deciding not to do business with his employer is just their right. Of course, fringe loons like you see that as offensive and censorship.

Joe Rogan has had people boycott his employer. That's not smearing. Of course it will be considered as such by fringe loons like yourself who are doing exactly what you claim to dislike so much: smearing anybody who disagrees with you. If he was removed from a health board for undermining public trust in health measures during the greatest pandemic in a century then that would just seem to me to be reasonable. And smearing those with different perspectives as evil monsters is just one of them…
