Without the word never (or equivalent) being present, that is. Still boggles my Abby Normal how close Tom Seaver was to pitching vs the Mets in ‘86. He was injured in Sept as I recall and was not used in the playoffs, thank goodness! Based on his stats at the time, he would have had a start. Some quality talent nearby and I know WAR is one stat, but imo it’s a darn good one. He had a rifle for an arm from RF. As good as Parker imo as far as don’t tread on me. HOF worthy? Mike Sainristil of Everett and Michigan at CB and Zak Zinter of BB&N and Michigan at IOL. That’s three guys from that Everett 2017 team now in the NFL. Cine and Likely the others.
