They talk about Darnold Rosen and Allen like they are the next super Qbs of the league. They are saying this could be the 2004 class if not better but they all have issues

Darnold now has 13 INTs in his last 9 games

Rosen didnt look too good against Memphis throwing 2 INTs

Allen i saw in 2 starts against FBS opponents had 1TD and something like 7 INTs.

Darnold has thrown 7 TD and 6 INT this year so far

Rosen is 13-2

Allen is 2-3

Allen was 9-24 against Oregon

Darnold will be fine. Big kid, great arm, good enough mobility. He's only in his 2nd year as a starter. Also, USC is not nearly as talented this year as they were last year in terms of receivers. He's going through an adjustment with the new guys.

I didnt think Prescott was gonna make it in the NFL but he got drafted by the right set up. 5 PB on the offensive line with a great RB. But in terms of Darnold Rosen and Allen they are gonna go to a team with nothing. So these 3 Qbs better learn how to play fast and make the people around them better

Since Josh Rosen called out Alabama for their lack of academics as he put it whats his excuse for losing to Memphis??

Rosen doesn't play defense. He did more than enough to win that game. Ucla defense is garbage and several drop passes in game also. Also, one of the picks vs Memphis was wr fault. He didn't read blitz and pass and went deep.

That was a real trap game.... spread only 3 and look at AM struggling who would of beat ucla if starter didn't go down.

Ucla not very good.

Nope they arent. But his excuse for the team not being good is that the academics at UCLA are too hard. Come on man. Yea it was a trap game and they fell in the trap. Rosen needs to worry about his team not anyone else or what any other school is doing. UCLA still has USC Stanford Washington Utah to play. Very hard road ahead. multiple losses more then likely

My whole point was Rosen doesnt need to be calling out teams esp one such as Alabama. Let him worry about his own team

I don't think that's exactly what he was saying .... he was saying if Alabama raised SAT requirements for football players than let's see what type of team they have.

But he shouldnt care about that. He decided to go to UCLA. Vanderbilt has better academics then UCLA and they have to play Alabama every year. It was his choice to attend UCLA

Vanderbilt also is terrible at football. Stanford, ND (esp if enrolled in Mendoza), northwestern (enrolled in Kellogg), and Michigan (enrolled in Ross) are better academically than ucla. So is duke but duke not a football jaggaurnaut.

Fun Fact: Josh rosen's mom's great great grandfather was Joseph wharton who founded the Wharton school of business. Also, His father is one of the most renowned spinal surgeons in the country as well. Family has big dough.

Vandy just beat #18 K state. Huge win for Vandy. I wouldnt put them at terrible. Near bottom of SEC yes. Duke has been getting better at football but yes not anything to get crazy excited about.

Thats great for Josh. But Josh needs to learn to worry about his own team. Those alabama boys might be protecting you in the NFL or catching the balls your throwing

Rankings this early don't mean much. Lot of football to be played.

He does have a point .... I'm sure Bama does have lower academic requirements for players. But he shouldn't yap about it to the media .... nothing to gain from doing that.

They very well might and yes college degrees from different schools weigh differently but they are there and some of them will graduate and some will go on to the NFL and some will unfortunately not make it. But yes there is no reason to yap about it. A team like Alabama will be in the top 4. UCLA not as much. UCLA did accomplish something tho. They more then likely buried Sumlin at A&M
