SEC Announced 2 Huge Matchups For 2024 On Monday Night Football'

Texas and Oklahoma. Clearly, they don't stand a chance against these SEC stalwarts.Ā šŸ¤˜ I keep reading how both will be average teams in the SEC. We will find out if this is true.Ā  I Don't remember Missouri and A&M being so honored in their debuts.Ā

Texas and OU have dominated these two teams.Ā  They are a combined 15-6-2 all time vs these SEC Teams.Ā

OU 0-1 vs. Ga. all time a 54 -48 bowl loss.Ā Ā

OU 3-2-1 vs. Bama all time

Texas 4-1 vs. Ga. all time

Texas 8-2-1 vs. Bama all timeĀ

Ā

Ā

The SEC will officially announce its full 2024 football schedule later this week, but the conference surprise dropped two marquee matchups during Monday Night Football.

Texas and Oklahoma are making their SEC debuts in 2024. Among their conference matchups, the Longhorns are set to host Georgia, while one of Oklahoma's home dates will be against the Alabama Crimson Tide, this year's SEC champions.

The dates for those two games were revealed on ESPN tonight: Texas will play Georgia in Austin on Oct. 19, while Oklahoma will take on Alabama in Norman on Nov. 23.Ā

The entire 2024 SEC schedule release will take place on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN and SEC Network.

Seriously I think the Mount Rushmore of college football teams would be Alabama, Notre Dame, Michigan and Southern CaliforniaĀ

You do realize that Michigan has a whopping 1/2 of one National Title in the last SEVENTY FIVE years?Ā

They win games but not titles.

At least the UCLA and USC fanboys don't appear to be acting like big jive jerks about joining the Big Ten...... and telling the world what they're going to do and this and that, and that and this.

Somebody's in for a rude awakening.

Ā

Who's telling the world what?

You have clearly NOT read devilegg's 43 offerings here (so far) on Oklahoma and Texas entering the SEC next year with the cousin's, bubba's and stuff

You're probably a much better man for it too!

Ā

Canā€™t recall that. ā€œConferencesā€ as we knew them are changing into something we donā€™t know how it will look. Iā€™d prefer we not change for a bunch of reasons but in this day and age thatā€™s whatā€™s happening and so Iā€™m glad to be in the SEC opposed to remaining in the Big 12. Lots to like about the B1G but geographically it doesnā€™t make much sense anymore.Ā
Ā

Should be an interesting time.Ā

Texas really got a break with their SEC schedule next year.......

Florida should be a little better though.
