I was really impressed with Kimball beating Woodrow Wilson 35-14 in the bi district round

Woodrow drug them 61-7 earlier this year... and 83-7 last year

I'm trying to get a good read on duncanville, I've only seen highlights of them.  How good are they really, I've heard they have great team size and speed.  What are your thoughts?

man..they are for real...

they have a lot of no name underclassmen waiting in the wings with amazing speed  that could easily change the game

I'm convinced some of those guys on their bench will make some playoff noise...

Allen is great and Tisdale has amazing  accuracy... but I don't see them getting past Duncanville

Duncanville will be great for years to come..

That's quite a statement about them n Allen.

I was watching an interview with their players, they were very business like.  They just came off a big win, but the players commented they had mistakes that need to be corrected and were looking forward to fixing them in practice.  (#10 Mosley was one of them) You don't hear that often from HS kids. Those kids are focused that's for sure.

Yep DF is an ETex BlueBlood.  How the Heck did your Commerce Homies upset White Oak.  Gunter talking smack with DF fans over at Smoaky

I have no idea...Commerce is weak on defense and their O-Line can't pass protect to save their lives...

But Askew is a very good running back (319 yards on 24 carries and 4 TDs)...and Williams is scary on the Jet Sweeps...Apparently the new HC stopped being stubborn and went with his strengths...

But if Commerce wins...it will have to do so in shootouts...

That missed XP saved them though...And their Freshman QB picked a bad night to throw 4 ints

They won't be Sunnyvale tho (Old district rival..)

Duncanville will be great for years to come..

You know what the difference is?  Coach Samples don't ask kids - "He tells them".   He does not baby star players - He continues to challenge them! College coaches love him for it too.

Duncanville has never been without talent --He has them hungry.

This game vs Trinity will be interesting to see how well Duncanville handles Trinity's running game...

I think Permian-Martin is a pick 'em game and Midland Lee should beat Lamar.

I will be at a 3A game at 2pm and then over to Frisco @ 7pm for Desoto vs. SLC

Is the QB for Judson playing in this game or still hurt? That will make a big difference.

I'm not sold on OP yet. I think Martin wins by 2 td's. That's a good program.

Lee vs. Lamar is the pick 'em game for me.
