Westlake is like a lot of Florida teams. They seem to have an abundance of firepower (in terms of players), but have accomplished very little in state. I wouldn't put them on the level of Stephenson when it comes to underachieving, but they are close. Lol Where does Deer Jerky stand right now in FL? Returning starters, star power, expectations, etc? Talented, but will not have anywhere near the preparation as a big GA program or your average private school has. (Very surprising trip to the semis, before losing 28-0 to Roswell) Not very good last year (1st rd exit 34-7 to Marietta) And apparently if they are going to be worse in 2018, well they wont beat Deer Jerky. You can never tell with the Deer in a field on a beach. They lose studs too. And they did the same thing. Went to the semis 2 years ago, and then got bounced in the first round last year.
