I know Fisherman’s Wharf and had a “last cigarette ever” halfway across the Golden Gate Bridge. I’ve probably driven every mile of interstate in the entire state and can drive virtually anywhere without a map or navigation system. Next time you go to Six Flags or Knott’s or Great America or Redlands or Palm Springs or Chula Vista or Concord or ..... think of me. I was once a tourist-in the ‘60’s to L. A. But I had a friend in Huntington Beach and remember wishing that I could have grown up there. If you are in San Francisco take advantage of it. Work a second or third job, get a Master’s -go after your dream. Whatever it takes. I knocked on doors my whole life.
