If they lose to each other, neither will be MNC. SJC would then be in the drivers seat. Wins over FL and GA will be the difference IMO. They'll never ever be a one loss MNC.

SJC most likely loses to IMG.   Same as SFA last year.  Both lucked out by having their best opponent cancel.

No way they win MNC  as the Hoover win is a big nothing burger now.

I used to debate this with DJ.  I argued that with the way the game was evolving, under  just the right circumstances, you could have a one loss MNC.  DJ said no way.

Technically MD is a one loss team right now.

Cant say that SJC most likely loses to IMG.

If SJC goes undefeated w wins over AL, FL and GA, and wins comfortably in the Geico Bowl, no way a one-loss Cali team can be crowned.

The Ga team SJC Best is turning out to be underwhelming as much as Hoover

Admit it, IMG losing “screwed the pooch” for your east coast team as MNC agenda.

Thanks for setting up the MD/IMG game tho

Gave the Stache the  chance to validate their team and the Trinity league in the eyes of the east coast doubters

Now we can finally put the STA game to rest.

Thx for that reminder. Now if it's between MD and another undefeated team, the latter team will be crowned. No national poll would want to deal with the public outcry of a "cheater" being crowned MNC.

Well I guess we can revoke mister #Steakdinners MNC

go ahead and file the  paperwork with the commissioners office

If they lose to each other and then win Open, that’s the best scenario for a non-Ca contender whether it be SJC or TX stare champ (which may be only two still in play with SJC> MC> STA already established)

I agree with this although the algorithms may feel differently with justification for what their criteria priority is

if MD and SJB split AND win Open while sjc goes undefeated they get my vote

there’s a HUGE gap between tier one and two but CA has a couple of tier 2 teams that will give as good a shot as anyone in taking down one of the beasts and either could come into play especially CC who would need to beat national #s 2, 1, and 10 successively to close season

You are right although he was more correct in the world he lived in back in 2015 or earlier

think about #1 v #2 matchups — 1st ever happened in ‘01, then ‘09, then ‘13, now we’re getting 3 a season

Can’t say never anymore

IMG definitely has a bit of handicap applied by voters or so it seems

may be becoming true for others of that ilk, but at least trinity teams use local kids

i cant believe I’m defending that — don’t mean to but there is a distinction between IMG and anyone else imho

Maybe, but that forfeit could hurt them long term. #teachingmoment

Nope! MD PR team made sure that “lose” didn’t hurt them in any poll...Plus the whole thing is messed up...cif won’t let the kids play cause I’m the 8th grade he played rugby in Australia. It’s a really same and one of the reasons I never trust the Government. @GardenStateBaller I know you are big gov socialist but even you can see how CIF screwed this young man.

If either MD or Bosco beat each other twice and run the table then the MNC would be unanimous in all polls just like last year, especially MD because of the IMG victory. To think a bogus forfeit (which maybe could have been overturned if MD chose to pursue it but they let it go) would taint anything or influence voters is silly.
