Point is, again, anyone assuming all zero-stars are more or less the same caliber football players is sorely mistaken. Seeing that kid across the way is probably intimidating for many HS lineman. I've heard interest is being shown. I know another kid on that team was a zero-star, but is also highly respected among other players. He committed to Coastal Carolina and 247 just updated him to 3*. So, as much as soph. and junior seasons matter, there is still some room to grow as a senior. Anglin played for a crap team wayyy out of any spotlight last year. So, things may change for him. Where the Fk is that?? Whitehead started his junior season as Kathleen's QB. Did fairly poorly and got benched/switched to WR. So, he entered his senior season having done nothing, really. I don't think he did much/any of the camps, either. He looked really good at Lakeland, but that was mostly on the kinds of plays nobody in college runs for RBs or WRs. That scissors play out of the flex isn't something anyone really runs. He didn't really impress much in the more traditional WR roles, having a notable TD drop in the upset playoff loss to Plant. But, yes, he's a kid that when you watch him with the ball in his hands, looks nothing like a zero-star. There are some definite reasons the NFL ends up with so many small college players ending up making it big.
