I'm curious! What grade did you give Barry in HIS first 100 days? With a SUPER MAJORITY, he accomplished NOTHING!

Obama got the stimulus package passed in the first 8 days. Got a budget resolution passed. Signed legislation on workers rights and healthcare. And much like Trump, issued numerous E.O.'s, the best one of which was to strengthen the backbone of government ethics rules. He also signed all the same proclamations as every other president before him had.  At the end of his first 100 days, he had a 69% approval 29% disapproval rating.

Nearing the end of Trump's 100 days, failed repeal of the ACA, looming government shutdown, no budget passed, no border wall going up, and immigration ban held up in the courts. Not one REAL legislative victory. NOT ONE. His only claim to legislative achievement in the first 100 days is a bill allowing hunters to kill bear cubs in their dens during hibernation. All this while his party has majorities in both houses of congress. He has made some real progress on his immigration crack down though. Dropped some bombs on Syria and Afghanistan. Signed quite a few E.O.'s. Signed handful of other resolutions that would have been passed if Mickey Mouse was president and made several proclamations... including the one that made April 9th, National Former P.O.W. Recognition Day(even though he doesn't like guys that got captured) All the proclamations are the same as every other president has made.

As of today, Trumps RCP average approval rating is 42.4% with a disapproval of 50.9%.

How would you issue grades to these two accomplishment lists and approval/disapproval ratings?

How does everyone else grade them?

Clearly Trump is less polished a legislator out of the box.

That said, Obie overall turned into a terrible legislator. I expect the reverse with Trump.

Internationally both have done/did what needed to be done.

Yes, we did need apologize for Bush, yes, it is now time to react ourselves as the dominate power, not fearful of action.

Overall, it is Trump's emotional immaturity that has cost him in a head to head superior grade vs Obie.

You just can't have the most powerful person in the world insisting that what he makes up is fact. That is what happens in dictatorships.

hope this helps!

Trump's doing fine.

Regulations are being rolled back and billions saved already.

Illegal immigration has plummeted. And planning and bidding for the wall are underway.

We have a new Supreme Court justice who will actually go by what the constitution says and not what makes him feel good.

New tax plan has been announced to be released this coming week.

Reports are that negotiations with the Freedom Caucus regarding health care are getting close...

As a result of all the above, economic confidence is at its highest levels in years.

And unlike under Obama, Trump has not has a fully supine, boot-licking press corps behind him. Completely (or near-as-damn) the opposite, in fact.

Cajun aka chin samples will be here calling him cheeto.  Georgie will do a drive by still demanding President Trump's tax returns and Drop will be posting the world is ending all because of Trump.

Real easy one to call.

BIIIIG Drop was ECSTATIC, as long as Clinton was giving away the store with NAFTA, ignoring the FIRST trade center attack, and getting BJ's in the Oral Office!

And lest we not fergit, the 5,000,000,000,000 jobs that have miraculously returned or have been created, since Nov. 8th! Not to mention the resumption of the two oil Pipelines out West!

Wonder how this post would read if Obama got 6 people with Muslim sounding names released from a foreign country.

Glad they're back, Go #MAGA.

I thought that THAT was what happened, when Barry released those WORLD CLASS TERRORISTS from Gitmo, in exchange for that AMERICAN HERO, Bergdahl!

You mean, he signed an Executive Order in the first eight days! Congress couldn't wipe their asses in eight days! HELL, in the first eight days PRIOR to Inauguration Day, PRESIDENT Trump had almost SAVED the WORLD!

And you think that 600 fucking dollars was even a pimple on the ass of society? HELL, I know it made ME solvent! I paid off my $24,000 credit card debt with THAT massive stimulus!

And he signed WHAAAAAT? Legislation governing ETHICS?xDxDxD Is THIS the SAME Barry who tried to SABOTAGE TRUMP, beFORE and AFTER the election? HELL, if there was a REAL judicial branch of the current government, Barry would be looking at hard time, along with his girlfriends Eric Holder, HILLS, Loretta Lynch, and Susan Rice!

And is this the SAME approval poll that had PRESIDENT Trump LOOOOOSING the election by DOUBLE DIGITS?xD Election night was one of the greatest nights of my life, watching all you pussy ass Socialist, crying like you had lost your last butt buddy!

I sat there watching Brett Baier on FOX,(the ONLY news organization in the Western World) who was following the proceedings along with Trump's girlfriend Megyn Kelly. And at 2:30 am, he put on his glasses, raised his head, and proclaimed that Pennsylvania, with it's twenty electoral votes, had gone to DONALD. J. TRUMP, the next PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES!

You wouldn't be looking for relief from our government for your credit card debt, would you? I hope some of the $24,000 was eventually used on some sort of personal money management education, or something on workplace etiquette and how not to lose a job (you yourself have posted about numerous jobs you been let go from). Don't blame others on your bad decisions, wabid.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO, I solved that mystery the ole fashion way! I got a part time J O B with the RR, and paid the dang thing off, with EVERY cent I made!

And when I was LAID OFF, I had become a product of the OBAMANATION! When I went a lookin for that third time being the charm. I was told, DON'T come a knockin until Barry is GONE with the Wind!

And the only bad decision I made was getting MARRIED to the BLACK WIDOW!

Interesting.

A new Washington Post poll that declares President Trump as "the least popular president in modern times," waits until the second to last paragraph to reveal another tidbit: He'd still beat Hillary Rodham Clinton if the election were held today and in the popular vote, not just Electoral College.

One correction.  Obama was not in the legislative branch.  The obstructionist Republicans were the ones legislating.  If Obama were to kids their ass like they wanted him to, they still would have said no to everything.  Hard to get anything done.  It is/was what happened so can't go back but it's important to remember how that played our.  But I'm sure you know this and I'm risking carpal tunnel for nothing.

The new survey finds 46 percent saying they voted for Clinton and 43 percent for Trump, similar to her two-point national vote margin. Asked how they would vote if the election were held today, 43 say they would support Trump and 40 percent say Clinton.

So much for the "buyer's remorse" narrative, eh?  banana.gif  dancingparty.gif

Sorry, Obie was a legislative failure.

You sound a bit like him when he made his supreme court nomination.

He did his nob with the nomination so it was not his responsibility after that.

Not my idea of a leader.

Take personal responsibility and get things done. Period.

I did my job is not good enough, not for me. Not from Obie, Donald or my kids.

Obie struggled even his first two years when he had a majority in both houses. Look at the mess he made of healthcare when he had the majority.

My point is he was in the executive branch and not the legislative.  I don't know what wasn't good enough as far as his job goes.  I imagine he did the best he could.  If he was able to deal with adults in congress I imagine he could have accomplishes more but there was no adult in sight.

I just dont believe you can get things done without others.  You just can't.  Not really debatable on that point.  Nobody can accomplish anything by themselves, there is always help from someone, somewhere along the way.

The Obamacare rollout was a mess for sure but he did get it done.  I'm not sure if he actually designed the tech on that but I doubt it.  However, nobody had been able to do it before and I heard from Trump that health care is hard.

Of course which is why you bring people together

Obie never did. He also never went to the American people to pressure Congress for what he wanted done.

Sorry, the job demands you do this.

You get it done you don't mail it in. Obie is not a leader by nature nor learned.

I voted for him twice and would again but facts are facts and for me, you take ownership, you take responsibility. Period.
