47 pass attempts for Notre Dame. Zero sacks by Georgia. Once again the pass rush just isn’t there for the Dawgs

The Notre Dame QB was on the run most of the night and threw 15-20 passes to the cheerleaders.

I thought Notre Dame's offense was pretty weak though other than the BIG TE grabbing some balls.

Irish QB just looked funny to me all night....his throws don't even look right.

Dawgs need Herron, huh?

Where's that 2-3 score blowout?

BGW

You said 20-19 ND.

Shouldve easily been just that if Kirby would grow a pair & go for it on 4th & 1... ND defense was tired and being gashed... But we kick a FG instead. So its 23-10 instead of 27-10.

GA was the better more talented team, they were just outcoached in a few ways. At this point Im just glad we won.

I really hope our OL & CB injuries arent too severe and they are back soon.

ND's offensive line is elite.  No one recruits the line better than ND.  ND continuing to play Finke in the slot is getting us nowhere.  No one is scared of him. No speed and now he's dropping passes.  UGA  knew dude wasn't running away from them and were up in his grill all night or just quickly closed on him.  ND has burners that they could put there to open it up even more.

He had all kinds of time to throw.  Him leaving the pocket was uncalled for.

They were not elite last night. At all. Seven false start penalties. A few holding calls. Tackles got beat most of the night forcing the QB to scramble out of the pocket where he’s very inaccurate. (Needs to stay in the pocket, Brian Kelly said so himself)

Look at the final play. UGA sent 4 just four and blew it up.

They didn't blow up anything.  They were not blocked at all and one of the guys missing the block was a tightend.  Most of the false starts had to do with the UGA dline shifting right before the snap.  False start penalties were the biggest killer of the ND offense last night.  ND was called for 1 holding on offense.

Take away the muffed punt by Simmons & this one is the 2 score game everyone expected.

No idea why the coaches feel like they have to force Tyler Simmons & Matt Landers into the game plan. Landers is freaking awful... He cant catch, run, or block so idk why hes ever on the field.

That's like saying if ND doesn't throw two interceptions they leave with a win.  Game play out like they do.  Injuries and all.

You said the OL was elite. They ran for 46 yards in 60 minutes. Seven false starts. And with the game on the line, completely shit the bed and gave their QB no time

Nothing about that OL last night was elite.

Interceptions were plays made by the defense. Those INTs were made by the D and they were damn good plays... 1 of the INTs was ripped out of the WRs hands... Another happened because a rush by Quay Walker forced Book to scramble & Reed made a great play on the ball.

A muffed punt is a self inflicted mistake. Those 2 arent the same at all.

Georgia dominated the 2nd half of that game and it in no way shouldve been as close as it was at the finish.

That's what I saw, but Notre Dame people obviously watched a different game last night.

They barely had 50 yds rushing last night.....

Notre Dame Rushing
  CAR YDS AVG TD LONG
Tony Jones Jr. 9 21 2.3 0 6
Ian Book 3 18 6.0 0 9
Lawrence Keys III 2 7 3.5 0 8
TEAM 14 46 3.3 0 9

They weren't going to be able to run the ball and they knew it.  It would have been dumb to try.  Smart coaching there.  Jones is more of a short yardage back.  ND run plays are slow developing.  Jones would have been tfl if they tried to run.

Already explained the run situation.  False start penalties can't happen at the rate that they did last night.  So elite lines can't have off games?

Lets talk about the int's.  The first int came after the receiver bobbled the ball allowing the db to take it away from him.  Your a 5th year slot receiver.  Catch the damn ball.  UGA db was were he needed to be though so I take nothing away from him.

The second int came off of a flea flicker  with UGA blitzing a corner.  Safety made a great play here too but who runs a flea flicker to throw a 12 yard out?

Watch the final play again.  Line did their job.  TE chip blocked the outside rusher and guard pushed the tackle outside.  Book step up and he's got 2 more seconds. Instead Book immediately bailed as he did all game.  Youtube is a best.
