Cat_Scratch
The Investigating General? Ran on and by a partisian staff? I'm sure the IG was totally unbiased. Get of your tricycle, it makes you look silly. Do you really believe Trump had a fair shake in this deal? Honestly??? If so then I feel sorry for you. Hardcore Troubador
42 minutes ago, Cat_Scratch said: It has already been said that if Trump is re-elected the Dems will do this all over again. Nancy knew this impeachment was poison for the DNC if they didn't slow it down. She is more clever than some give her credit for, she has it on delay. The Dems will delay the move to take it to the Senate until they feel they have the power over the Reps. If the Dems do not get the Senate side then it will just die in limbo and many Democrats will be out next election cycle. If, and this is a big if, the Dems run Trump out that still leaves Pence. Hell, what do I know though, I never believed Trump would be impeached. I was gullible enough to believe the house would play by the rules of impeachment and not make them up was they saw fit. Have to hand it to the Dems... they can play dirty. Just wondering where the Blue Dress was for the impeachment of Trump? Bbbbbut I thought President Trump poses a grave threat to our constitutional republic! To our rule of law! To the very idea of free and fair elections! 🤣 Let me get this straight - this guy will do anything to subvert our democracy and stay in power. All these congresspeople undertook the “solemn, somber, and serious”™️®️©️ duty to impeach (and even wore black just to make sure we all knew how solemn, somber, and serious it truly was). Now, faced with this grave threat to the republic they are gonna sit on their hands and put the Articles in the congressional trapper keeper until they think it’ll do them the most good? Leave this guy in office so he can continue to rig elections like a banana republic generalissimo? Not even attempt to fax the articles across the hallway and put the onus on Senate Republicans to explain why they back President-King Donald John Trump? We live in a fucking fun house of absurdity.

RedZone
This is huge! trump don't want these guys on his peach ass! Christianity Today "In our founding documents, Billy Graham explains that Christianity Today will help evangelical Christians interpret the news in a manner that reflects their faith. The impeachment of Donald Trump is a significant event in the story of our republic. It requires comment. But the facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral. The reason many are not shocked about this is that this president has dumbed down the idea of morality in his administration. He has hired and fired a number of people who are now convicted criminals. He himself has admitted to immoral actions in business and his relationship with women, about which he remains proud. His Twitter feed alone—with its habitual string of mischaracterizations, lies, and slanders—is a near perfect example of a human being who is morally lost and confused. Trump’s evangelical supporters have pointed to his Supreme Court nominees, his defense of religious liberty, and his stewardship of the economy, among other things, as achievements that justify their support of the president. We believe the impeachment hearings have made it absolutely clear, in a way the Mueller investigation did not, that President Trump has abused his authority for personal gain and betrayed his constitutional oath. The impeachment hearings have illuminated the president’s moral deficiencies for all to see. This damages the institution of the presidency, damages the reputation of our country, and damages both the spirit and the future of our people. None of the president’s positives can balance the moral and political danger we face under a leader of such grossly immoral character." https://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2019/december-web-only/trump-should-be-removed-from-office.html
