there should be one way or another that a parent can approach a coach to talk about playing time.  I know this is rare but there are fathers out there that would ask a coach what his kid to do to improve playing time such as camps, workouts, nutrition/weight loss or gain, etc...  I know its a fine line but there are some.  And no this conversation wouldn't happen after a game or practice but closed door situation.  jmo

No. Never. Ever.

You wanna talk camps or different things it’s one thing, but your Sons playing time Shouldn’t be your concern unless you’re coaching him.

There is absolutely ZERO good that can come out of it!

You’re gonna have to trust me here.

I don't think Kenny Sanchez is good at handling certain situations. He seems to be a hot head due to past record. Some things just aren't acceptable with certain places, people or bosses. Knowing and understanding the boundaries of the school, people and bosses where you are, are critical to your success there.

Regardless of playing time questions or what, how you handle the question makes a difference.  The parent could have been irate and totally wrong, but, the coach was the paid professional in the situation. He probably cursed the parent or something along those lines, who then went over the coach's head to the big boss and snitched who then went and got cursed his ownself and squashed the situation then and there.

Fuxk that, the real question is why is the Scrap metal jersey guy breaking the news on a FL coach 🤔 🧐

Yeah! Still odd that none of our Florida guys were out front of the story really.

I guess that school wasn't important before Kenny and won't be now that he's gone either.

I think it’s because Menendez Brothers High isn’t even good on a state scale. So no one probably cares some Vegas clown coached there

sorry, can't do that.  I already seen good come from this situation on two separate occasions. One with a kicker and another w/ a receiver.  If dad comes to a. coach and ask what his kid could do to get better, its a private question first off and SHOULD NOT be addressed in front of others (despite what some pseudo coaches on here think).  No need to announce to entire team anything like this.  Second if coach says to a concerned dad who is not in the loop on health, lifting, or the sport itself - "get your kid here or there, have him lose weight, trying these lifts, etc..." and dad does those things, the kid will only get better ands gets more knowledgable on the topic.  If dad has two more sons coming up, then dad gets the head start on the younger ones.

Relax, it was just my opinion.

But, if you want to stretch this out and be a dick, I'll come along for the ride:

You posted originally that "there are fathers out there that would ask a coach what his kid to do to improve playing time such as camps, workouts, nutrition/weight loss or gain, etc", which when you think about it is pretty goofy.

"Hey coach, will my son get more playing time next year if he goes to the Villanova football camp in the summer?"

"Yes sir, that camp will get him into our starting lineup for sure!"

"Thanks coach. And are there certain workouts Junior can do, or food he can eat, that will get him that Varsity letter, too?"

"Why of course, if he does plyometrics and eats chicken and eggs, he's guaranteed to be able to wear that letter jacket you bought him."

Keep shaking your head there, sausmann. I think you're on to something.

As was my post (ie its why it says JMO) and I'm not stretching shit out, you seem to feel as if I need your opinion on the matter. you stretching it out.  no need for any of your comments in my posts, you lack enough football knowledge that its simply invalid to me.  whether I'm a dick or not,  you seem once again feel self entitled to jump into conversations that wasn't directed your way.  smh again.  Coach of the fucking year here, lmao.  Try coaching sometime and you might find out these situations actually exist.

Good luck with that.
