Both VM and Murr. Valley were top 25-40 teams in Cali last year. That's out of 1000 teams. I'd say that's pretty good. VM can only get better since they have a foundation while colquitt on the other hand is iffy for the moment. So, it's only right that VM should be the favorite......even in the hawg pen. A team CP had in the Top 100, Madison SD, by 11 points. And they crushed other semi-decent teams. VM probably isnt going to beat Colquitt. The point is VMs prior season results + returning starters is more promising than Colquitts. The Trinity League is, arguably, the best league in the country top to bottom. There isn't one BAD program in the league from a national perspective. SJB and MD absolutely destroyed them last year. That tells me how good those two really were last year. I also think Grayson and Roswell (GA's two best teams last year) would've beaten all of them as well. Colquitt was GA's best team the two previous seasons, not last year. However, they were still in GA's top 5-7 and should be able to handle VM, especially at home.
