Penn State wasn't in the Big Ten then so again other then being UM vs Penn State didn't mean much. Ohio Friggin State the only game that mattered. Look how much has changed under Jim. He won in a couple of seasons in the Pioneer something or other whatever with players who would probably have been brought in by the previous guy. We won a single bowl game and no titles at Stanford and can be credited with recruiting (and riding the arm of) Andrew Luck. He was very successful in the NFL.
