Has he made a collegiate choice?

From the replies to that thread he's still uncommitted.

Been a strong season for hurdles out here; girls 100 state record fell at Chandler Rotary last month, and girls 300 is under assault:

I’m sure Oregon wouldn’t mind having him.  USC is strong.  Good choices out west.

1980

Olympic Trials -

US Boycotted Moscow Games

100 and 200 I focused on, of course.

NFL players I noticed on the list…

100/200 Willie Gault

100/200  Mark Duper  LA!

200   Harold “Butch” Woolfolk

…

Now look at that fricking 100 finals list track fans.  🤩

Two Arizona guys in that 200-meter (King and Evans). King is from my current town and we have a city park named in honor of him and his cousins who were fellow prep All-Americans on the track. Evans is the head track coach at his alma mater (South Mountain) and won the 200 bronze in Montreal just after graduating high school.

LSU has some serious skill speed in the 2024 class..

Everybody knows  about WR/Slot Watkins (10.22) and RB Durham (10.39).>

>>>4* WR Michael Turner Jr (6-1 170 lbs) from John Curtis clocked a 10.37 100 meters to win the NOLA Catholic League District couple days ago. It was a great race with basically a photo finish..

We might need to make a bet on this one. Regional finals are today, I want to see qualifying times first for state

Yesterday 6 teams ran sub 41 in the Prelims.   They are faster than every State except Texas.  Matter all 8 wouild dominate every other State and this was just the Prelims

All season long, the boys 4x100 relay has been exemplary while grabbing the attention it rightfully deserves.

We knew going into this meet that the boys race in Region 2-6A was going to be exciting.

It had the defending UIL 6A boys state champions Klein Forest and last year's runner-ups Duncanville in the fields.

Added hype came from the Duncanville's two sub 40-second runs this season.

The hype did not disappoint!  Yet only 2 can go to State out of each region.  This Region will likely have the best time of the non top 2 and get that last team in.  Screenshot_20240420_145738_Chrome.thumb.jpg.7fc0b89b12f88a3f2575067334e67d2a.jpg

Did you see what happened in the finals?  The woodlands, Conroe , and Cain all dropped the baton!

the woodland with 40.29 in prelims will not be at state.

i am at the region 3 meet in Humble now!   4x100 final just few minutes ago

We are going to see the 3 fastest teams in the state 4x100. DV, NS and Cita. Couldn’t ask for a better field.
