The College's ran 10 mins after the Boys 4x100.  They would have won the College 4x100.  Duncanville would have beat UH as well.  Tompkins would have finished 2nd.  These were GHA High Schools except for Dville.  There is more speed in the DFW area.

The one and only time Jamaica (Penn Relays Champ) met up with 4 HS Texas Kids at the Great South West meet.  This was 4 of the fastest Texas kids after the season and at the time was the fastest time ever ran by H.S. Kids.  Atascocita would have beaten these kids by 5 meters and set the new standard.  Tx Want that smoke and would break Jamaica's domination in the Penn Relays over U.S. East Coast Teams.  I think it's now 19 years in a row. IMG messed up last year they would have had a good chance.  Texas had run a 39.35 in 2003 before hitting this 39.20.

Kinda sucks that some quality OOS track teams like American Heritage FL will be at the Texas relays this year, considering that most of the best from Texas will not be there.

Should still be good 4x100 with them, DV, and few others.

Based on the entries not sure anyone can push American Heritage in the 4x200

Hate that the UIL moved up the district meets.  This has really hurt this great meet!!!

Thx for the  info.  I don’t remember the name.

The Millrose Games at MSG was a huge event when I was a kid in the 70’s competing in track.

Houston McTear and Harvey Glance were the big names I followed of course and by the 76 Olympics, I was a track fanatic and clearly still in 2024, a tad interested.  :)

My sister attended the Montreal Games and enjoyed the trip w friends.

Texas boys rule Big School 100m Prelims.  1 OOS kid made the finals in DiV I and DIVII.  bEast Texas Kid Will Henderson ran a 10.15 with 3.3mph the lowest wind of any finalist.  One heat had a 6.6 mph.  He will destroy that field as he did last year.  He beat that Same kid from W. E. last year

Small School 100m.

OOS kids time and finishes with large schools.  Man that La. sleed was insane 🫣 31st the highest finish.  Duncanville only ran their Freshmen and Soph and  Joe Mckinney (9) 10.70, Keyshwan Simpson (10) 32nd, 10.76 44th'

Out of State kids in 100m dash large classes: Memphis Central, Rancho Cucuamonga and Liberty, NV should be competitive in the 4x100.  They got some speed.  Actually talked with @Frosty4024before about Scotlandville, La and their track reputation..  Respect for those kids as a track program boys and girls.

@golfaddict1 @Nolebull813 AH showed out in 4x200.  They have a sub 1:24 this year.  The Woodlands and Katy Tompkins nor Atascocita and Duncanville ran in this.  Dville has a 1:24.66 this year and the other 3 are faster.  A.H. gonna smoke this field.  They are the fastest in Fl with a 40.42 4x100.  That is must see with Dville.  Atascocita  isn't here for that.  That's tomorrow.  Dville challenged the nation after last week. Caden Durham did at least.   We need this Tx vs Fl in H.S. track.  Ga is fast as hell as well. Langston Hughes has a 40.30.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Joe mckinney, not only talented in track but as a RB too.
