Hendrix, Deep Purple and so on...    Where do we start?   Lemmy of course.

I have long used a signature in my many music and audio boards that is a self quote.

Here is is:

"There is good music and there is great music, there is no bad music."

So, thanks for the thread!

Sebastian Bach and Skid Row!

Saw these guys live with Bon Jovi and Skid Row blew Jon outta the water.

The intro to 18 and life, the lead guitarist appeared in silhouette with a double neck guitar... The visuals were epic!

A shout out to the female rocker Lita Ford (featuring Ozzy)

I think there is some bad music. Such as Ice, Ice Baby, and Sussudio, to name a couple songs that come to mind.

Not sure what I'm trying to accomplish here LOL.  If it's above a political  thread with only crappy Poison and Ratt songs, it's a win. :)

To start a thread like this you likely listen to more music than most. I am curious as to you listing You Tube videos, is this how you consume most your music?

If so, what do you use to watch/listen to them?

others too, how do you enjoy your music????

Streaming MP3's principally through a phone?

In a home theater setting?

Old fashion stereo setup?

Just plug into a PC and listen?

Blu-Ray, DVDA, SACD, Redbook, HD or MP3 downloads? Strictly stream services. Anyone use HD streaming if so?

I have a little over 600 MP3's downloaded to my phone that I listen to sometimes, mostly the more obscure stuff that doesn't often play on the radio or Pandora. I stream through Pandora some when away from home. I also use You Tube sometimes, depending on what I'm looking for and if there is something specific I want right this minute.

I still do listen to the regular radio as well. This really depends on the station, time of day, and where I am. Not going to wade through very much talking and syndicated garbage like John Boy and Billy etc.

Sometimes Sirius when at home as it's offered through my satellite t.v. service.

Cool, about what I'd expect from most. :)

When you say you have 600 MP3's, are these 600 albums or 600 individual songs?

I have cherry picked songs through the years. I find that most albums only have a couple of songs that are good enough to pay for or rip, so rather than carry around a lot that I'll never listen to, I found the stuff I knew I would listen to and that isn't really found on the radio/Pandora/Sirius etc. as a general rule.

Baton Rouge had one of those hair/headbanger bands....."Baton Rouge"

They had one album hit #160 on the charts in 1990. "Shake your Soul"

They lasted a couple years then split. Some of them actually playing with and producing with some "names".

The rock biz is like making it to the major leagues in baseball.....tough!

Of course rewatching that Baton Rouge video and thinking back it probably cost them their fame. xD

That's a stupid damn video.

A great video back in the day could really launch a band.
