Rome's historic beating of Buford last year should have opened people's eyes when it comes to how good they were.   They should have a ton more offers.   This is why I started the thread on attending camps,  they're loaded, but you wouldn't see it by  their offers.

Buford was not a good football team last season.

At least they were extremely off from their norm.

It was tough to judge Rome because they never played any real teams to prove it.

We were left taking folks word for it.

Same thing happening now. I told y'all not to trust Marietta.

#15 in the country?

Golly gee.

My point.  I've seen Buford before with some really good football teams.  Definitely a lot tougher than the squad I saw last year in that 1 game.

Marietta has a chance to rebound in the next few weeks vs. Grayson, Good Council and St. Johns

Exactly, and they have the talent to do so.  It was premature to rank them as high at the beginning of the season, but by mid to end of season they may be there.

Seeing what is going on at Grayson... They may have a chance there.

Hell, if they suit up some fans in the d-line costumes they may turn this game around tonight.

St. Johns is likely to destroy them if they're anything close to whats been sold.

GC may too.

Bufords 2 losses....

Buford at South Pointe   27-33  L

Buford  at Rome   7-45

Yet South Pointe was ranked higher than Rome on a lot of polls.   Buford wasn't great, but they weren't bad either.

When you lose 45-7 you are not good

they got norcrossed😩

They aren't going to win regularly in Georgia without special teams and a good d-line.

All that talent is wasted without those things in place

Cal preps is a Sh*t show early in the season

  PROJECT A MATCHUP

neutral field
[2018] Marietta (GA) 28, [2018] Rome (GA) 27

And they are better at the end when one team jumps from #17 to #1! After one week?

where has that ever happened in the infinite sports world rankings? 😆😆😆
