Noah is 20 years old and faster than Bolt was at age 20 in the 100 and 200.

His brother Josephus surprisingly made the 400 finals after two runners were dq’d in his semis race.  He finished 6th in the race, but rose to 4th after the dq’s.

I also DVR’d an event in Spain held yesterday and their 100 was won by  Su from China in 9.91  Well done.  Found a vid on YouTube.

Today and tomorrow tv times for the USATF outdoor champ. are 4-6 pm est on nbc and 6-8 pm est on the Olympic channel.

'Golf, you been checking out all the YouTube videos from the Diamond League events this year ?  I've never seen such good coverage. Sure, some of them are with foreign commentators, but the racing is great....#LongTimeFan

Very mucho so.  I dvr all track events at a high level that I can find.  They do a nice job and it reminds me of the Eurosport coverage I used to watch when traveling in Europe.   Top notch.   There are Jamaican Nationals and Japanese Nationals going on this weekend as well as the US.  Nobody went sub 10 in those finals.  The LSU burner Hobbs ran sub 11 to win the womens final yesterday.  She’s got the Baker start and the Lyles finish :)

Just watched tape delay of US Track Championships from Des Moines Iowa. Twenty year old 200m specialist Noah Lyle upset undefeated (2018) Ronnie Baker in the 100m final. Lyle ran a personal best 9.88. Wow!!!! The meet continues tomorrow and Sunday on NBC ( or NBCSC ) at 4pm both days....

He will be part of the US getting the 4 x 100m record back.

We are gonna be smoking in T&F for the next decade.  Man we got some great young talent.  Lyles ran a special 100m.   Can't wait to see that 4x100 vs. the Japanese.  Because the Jamaican's will not be the threat they have been.  Great Britain and Japan.  Lyles is more of a 200m guy as well.  Great Race.

Lyles does appear to be stronger in the 200, but longtime Daytona track coaching legend Earl Jackson ALWAYS put his fastest on the 2nd leg of the 4x100. They got the baton early and passed it off late and burned up the backstretch. Some handled it better then others. All the "Big EGO" fliers want to bring it home in the number 4 spot. :)

Yes and track guys know that 2nd leg guy usually runs the longest leg as well in many occasions especially if 1st leg is more of a quick type runner back him up in the curb a lil bit.  Yeah the old train of thought the Anchor leg is the horse and fastest.  But if you watch the NCAA championships that 2nd leg for UH smoked the field.

Coleman or Baker both start very well and are ideal lead offs or 2nd legs on the straightaway.  Yea right now Lyles finish is what you want as anchor.  Maybe the young Burrell makes the squad.  Rodgers and Gatlin still hanging around.  Bromell hopefully gets healthy.  How fast will Anthony Schwartz be?  :)

@954gator noooooo.  Holloway had a nice lead :(.  The former WR from Brophy Prep and the Univ of Oregon takes the title.

Devon Allen better enjoy it, because his time is DONE!

Edit, what's funny is these cats both got their fortnite dances going.
