Damn.  That record was in Texas for ever.  Florida str8 smoking.  Still would have loved to see UH in it.  1. FL 2. FL 3.TX

Fast race wow

These announcers messing with me.   LSU dropped the baton not TTech.     Wanted a clean race though.   LSU would have probably been right there.

More TX colleges vs FL left.  TT is a threat to win the whole thing.  That 100m gonna be lit.  That Track in Austin is legendary.

Don't think FL has good odds of winning.   Holloway did horrible in the long jump.    4X100 wasn't expected though.

Crazy how much better these teams run in these nice Texas conditions though.   LSU won the SEC outdoor 4x100 with a time of just under 39 seconds.  Fl was Just about 1 sec slower.  Air temps and humidity most definitely play a role in some of those elite relay times.

Special Texas air.  Boling and Texas kids will roll tomorrow at the Great S W.  In N.M.  All they did was complain about the heat in Austin on ESPN.  I was like damn it's normal 94 degrees. TT won it. Big 12.

“After two hot, oppressive days to begin the meet, tonight’s conditions were perfect for sprinting, with temps in the upper 80s but humidity below 50%. That allowed supreme talents Divine Oduduru of Texas Tech and Grant Holloway of Florida to do their thing on the track.”

C’mon brotha saying conditions are nice in Texas isn’t a bad thing! Texas is still king in track.

Looks like pretty good group for the Great Southwest 100m this weekend

Keep us updated on the 100 and any other interesting results.

The men were scorching the track yesterday in the NCAA D1 finals.  I was wondering if this was a Diamond League pro event with the times in various events :)

What is it with Texas?  😮

Iowa ripping a 3 flat and change in 4x400 and finishes 4th?  All 8 teams under 3:04?

What is that track surface made with, Acme spring kits?  :)  Sure looked like some beep beep Roadrunners out there spooling up.

Japanese 100 meter record and finishes 3rd in a NCAA race.   Just crazy speed yesterday.

The Nigerian’s times Sheesh.  Hello 2020 Olympic contender.

Holloway and  Roberts wow what a show that was!   Holloway runs a sub 44 split (well under) anchor for the Gators and passes a few at the end to finish 2nd.

Looking fwd to the females later on.

Yeah, Dwight Stones is my age (old and confused). He used to be the field analyst. A play by play guy he is not. The color commentator (no pun intended) Dan O'Brien is better but still green.

Seems like every race is either a Fl or Tx College or  Fl or Tx kid winning for Someone Else.  More tomorrow with the Girls.   The kid that won the 800 for Kansas won it at the same event in HS for State in Texas😎

Seeing several African names. Back in the day the word was "fast and slow twitch muscles."  Ethiopia and Kenya blew that racial shit up with the disappearance of America, England, white S. African, and Australian runners on the (long distance) podiums. The wave of west Africans in the sprints is only a matter of time.....and $$$

Yeah man I was thinking maybe he can pull that miracle at the end, but that Texas AM anchor happened to run the second fastest leg and was way too far ahead for Holloway to catch up.   If he'd have slipped up just even a bit Holloway might have got him.   He ran that last leg exactly how you should when in the lead.
