And we almost didn't make the finals of the 4x100 because of Rogers and some dude who I've never heard of.  I am wondering if Holloway has gone home yet.  We could put him on the 3rd leg with Lyles anchoring.

@TexasballWe know who didn't make the finals.  The team that I said would be a non factor.  Jamaica ran their season best in the Heat and every team except 7th place in GERMANY in heat 2 ran faster 🤣

So Jamaica who's been a relay threat since I've been alive all of the sudden is going to go away.  The US will get the record back but Jamaica won't go away.  If they took the top 4 from Kingston and Calabar, they smoke anything Texas can put together.

You still believe this after I said before  that Japan, GB, USA are better and that China would be the emerging team?   Bolt was the exception. They didn't perform well in the sprints either.  They are not elite just as I said they wouldn't be.  If he ran on the Anchor of this team in DOHA they would have been a threat.  They ran their seasons best and it was the 13th fastest out like 16 teams. 😂  When has that happened.  Their women will stay elite.  Though Brazil looked great I still say China will be right there just below the BIG 3 and Jamaica is not one of them.  And unless you are 12yrs old  they have not been a threat in the 4x100 historically.   Here is the Truth about the World Championships since 1983 which are ran every 2 years.  From 1983 - 2006 they only got on the Podium in 1987 with a Bronze Medal (Fact) 😂 and it wasn't till 2007 that they made another appearance and guess who came on the scene Usain Bolt they got a Silver behind the USA. So from 1983 to 2007 they medaled twice. 🤣 Not one victory.

2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 They won all 4.  Take a guess why.   In 2017 he's aging and hurt.  Bear in mind most of the time the USA was dropping Batons like a hot skillet.

Last 2 World Championships.  Where are they 🤣  @Texasball knows this as well as I do.

Jamaica  were a Johnny come lately to the 4x100 elite.   Since 2015 they have been no greater then USA, GB, JAPAN AND CHINA.   Bolt changed the dynamics in 2007 he's gone and they suck again. 😂

Dudes look at that 3rd leg the kid from Japan ran.  Sani Brown got eaten up on Anchor.

Sani Brown was pretty fast for NCAA, but I’m not sure he’ll ever be “world elite”.    He might nip into the 9s, but he has some improving to do to make an impact in the next level IMO.

So what about the Jamaican women?  How did they do?  I can't see anything about the Jamaican women.  How many Texans were on the US 4 x 100 that got gold?  Surely the US couldn't have got a gold medal without a Texan on the squad.

That's because 1/2 of the 4X400 was Texans they couldn't be on every relay 🤣 1st and 3rd leg and we never discussed Jamaican women. You professed the men would not drop off.  Nice deflection.  Go back and read the thread and find where we were discussing the Jamaican women it was about the men and I even said which teams would dominate them and those did just that.   Without Bolt they have been less than Brazil historically.

How many Texans were in the 100m finals?  What about the 200m finals?  400m finals?  You get where I'm going?  Anytime the US doesn't win the 4 x 400 relay it's an upset.  The US can put a E team out in the 4 x 400 and medal.  Jamaican man were terrible in all of the events I described.  But wait, they finished second in the 4x400.  I forget where the long jump world champion was from.  They got young guns just like the US that will probably announce there selves to the world in Eugene in 2021 and now Jamaican men are getting good at things outside of sprints.

Texans are prominent in any Track event.  Hell the fastest kid in America can be from Arkansas.  Does that mean Ark is faster than Texas.  Plenty of Texans have ran on 4X100, 4X400's dominated sprints 100, 200 & 400.  So out of 8 guys running on the premier relays the 4x100 and 4x400  2 of the 8 were from Texas but you seem to be trying to make some point about Texas Sprinters. 🤘 So one guy from Va faster than the fastest TEXAN means what.  America has over 350Mil people finding 4 fast people can be from any State even though the rest of the State can be slow as hell Like OHIO. 🤣As a matter of fact  Texas,  Georgia and Florida had at least 2 Men to win medals. (The real Sprinting States)  Where was Ohio?

Jamaica men won 3 damn medals in the whole event.   They really showed out. 😎Texans won 3 medals as well 💥

There are 4 million people in all of Jamaica.  I don't see how that hasn't sunk in for you yet.  Jamaicans got 4 silvers in the 4x400 mens race and then 2 more in the mixed.

There  are only 360,000 people in Iceland.  But their big Frozen asses seem to always be among the strongest in all of those damn Car Pulling and Keg Tossing over Objects and Atlas Stone lifting called the strong man competition. 🤣 If you are dominate  at something you are good at it.  My contention is they have never been dominate as men till Bolt.
