Just above you are claiming that nations didn’t run their fastest kids.

My question was can prove this.  Honestly, I don’t know if Jamaica had some better kids to run.

Did you are did you not believe that the fastest Jamaican would beat Boling?  I was under the impression that you thought the Jamaican would win.  You are welcome to set the record straight with me.  Honestly, not trying to pull shit out of the air.

I am just really impressed with Boling.  I can’t recall better all round track athlete on the HS level that was truly elite in so many events.

I met some of his coaches last week at the THSCA Convention.  They said when he was 9th grader he just wanted to run XC and longer distance in track.

The Pan Am format doesn't allow for any of the countries to put out their best relays.  You only take the top 2 from every country per event.  This year the US was fortunate to have an athlete that has ridiculous range in Boling.  The point I was making is that the US and Jamaica could have put out better 4 x 100 squads out than what the Pan Am's format allows.  Normally you wouldn't have to use hurdlers.

I didn't expect anyone to beat Boling.  I would have been trolling if I said otherwise and I don't troll.  To be honest I didn't even know when the Pan Am's were taking place to have an opinion on who was going to do what.

Boling could probably be an world class 800m guy with his strength as well.

@Texasball Look at the previous post and you will see their elite U20 kids ran in the Pan AM U20 4X100 including Oblique Seville 3rd leg on that Calabar team,  Michali Everett 2nd leg on Jamaica College, Xavier Nairne   their Top 200m guy U20 for them and  Kevon Stone 2nd leg Petersfield High.  They ran with their elite I will assure You.  Boling smoked XavIer Nairne in the 200 as well.  He also was a stud on Wolmers boys 4X100 team that DNF in the Jamaican finals.  Don't believe the B.S.

Michael Stepens the guy who got 3rd in the open 1 didn't run.  Seville was their top 100m guy and Stephens is their second.  But that isn't the point with you Devil.

You seem to believe that Texas is the only state that has really fast kids every year.  And then you lump in Florida when they have the fastest kid in the country.  California is the top track and field state and you take offense to that.  And Texas doesn't have an world elite sprinter every year and neither does Florida or any other state in the US.  I will tell yo the the last 4 truly World elite HS sprinters.  Boling is 1 along with Norman, Lyles and Brianna Williams.  World elite sprinters are capable of making a finals of their countries championships.

What Shit did I pull out of the air?  This should be good.   Jamaica got smoked again with their best kids or prove to us what other 4 they should have brought to that meet.   We are both Track guys from Texas and are not as easily impressed by others when we see elite Texas Kids each year that are just as  dominate.  We own the HS 4X100, 4X200 and along with Fl the 4X400.  Each year one of our kids is National or World elite for his age group.  Wanna bet me that Jamaica gets that ass smoked in the relays for the next 4 years and I will tell you who will smoke that ass and the 4 members of the 3-4 relay teams that will smoke them.  Watch Japan.  These Pan Am games with Texas kids been smoking them regularly. 🤣

Clearly Jamaica's 4x100 teams are not what they were.

So Jamaica who's been a relay threat since I've been alive all of the sudden is going to go away.  The US will get the record back but Jamaica won't go away.  If they took the top 4 from Kingston and Calabar, they smoke anything Texas can put together.

I'm not even in these convo much but your dislike of texas shines through with comments disparaging the state as much as possible.

ft bend marshall's time alone this season is competitive with Jamaica top 3 times, let alone putting an All star team from Texas.  Come on man.

I have no dislike for Texas.  I like speed period.  Devil says some off the wall stuff like the HS girls would beat college girls because they ran a really fast time in a HS meet against other HS girls.  Devil will go ghost if a Texan isn't doing anything on the track scene, but as soon as one wins a relevant race, boom he pops up with Texas is boss.  He was ghost until Fred Kerley beat Norman in that 400.

Try to re-read this and I will prove you wrong.  The key word is or.  And it is a damn fact.  Challenge me to prove each year we have A National or World class kids all back to the damn 70s.

Each year one of our kids is National or World elite for his age group

There is never a big track event without a Texas kid doing well.  Track is a big deal in Texas.  Just because they are not at a Texas University doesn't mean they are not reppin.  You're smart go back and look at the Pan Am games.

I watched the Texas relays with colleges and universities on the same damn track running the same events.  One year Desoto had the 3rd fastest 4x200..  I guess thise colleges would run faster.  Desoto girls are in the top 40 4x100s in colleges. You fail with the relays often.  I guess Desoto can't run a 44.2 vs the fast Big 10 girls.  Hell a Fr. Is dominating the NCAAs 100 from Texas.  Desoto Girls would absolutely beat the majority of 4x100 in America University's.  And thus year thise girls would run a sub 44.00 against faster Competition. They smoked Texas. I bet @Texasball agrees.  Hell you think we have magic wind and our 4x100s would lose Out side Texas.  Except they don't. 😆  Because we actually go and watch the kids run in person.  FBM would be a top 5 4x100 in the Big 12.  That's a fact

I know what I see.  California is not a better State.  They lag in Sprints and don't dominate us in the field events.  No Track metrics back up that nonsense.

OMG -  I was reading some of his last post -  I can't believe he believes CA is the best track and field state.  This is not been the case for over two freaking decades or longer.

Do you remember when Dyestat had - Rank the states?

And we both know its not remotely true. Tx hands down #1 T&F State in America.  FL and GA are faster in the sprints than Cali.  So don't know where they are not far behind comes from.  Tx is closer in distance races to them than they are sprints with Texas
