I guess I was thinking more end of year. Thatd have been good. Carmel had a couple reg. season losses they shouldnt have... but I guess I was just really impressed with their win over Center Grove in the State Title game, as CG had been playing lights out having crushed Warren Central & Ben Davis the 2 prior games. I think it would have been a barn burner type game. I agree with Coletrain06 that either team could have come away victorious. Missed field goal, fumble late, someone going for 2 and getting it or a safety could well have been the difference in a game like that. neutral field [2016] Carmel (IN) 28, [2016] St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ) 27 Yep. Probably just like that.

Cheers that's telling me!!!!!!!!!!! but you should have learned something. When someone in earnest has a different view than you, who is not a troll, you need to sit back and consider their view. Don't be a ridiculous homer who defends a terribly down, traditionally overvalued state like TX against reason. peace brother man!

One thing I think we all can agree on, both teams would have Ko'ed Carterville or Valdosta.

Stop deflecting. This is about NJ, the football is average overall. You have someone offer the truth about the BNU and Mt Carmel and you are "surprised" lol NJ is not that well represented on the national stage. why would I care about your flawed and subjective opinion of Texas last year when I have objective data that rated LT #5 and Desoto #11 in the country? Your best team in the entire state was ranked 36th by your very own calpreps. The problem is not only does the BNU constitute your league play but state level play as well...the BNU is the end-all-be-all to NJ football, the alpha and omega and it's a small 5 maybe 6 at best teams. Overall NJ is weak and the cowbell BNU will be weaker now that Toal has been benched. heres to a brighter future though in 2017

How many does that powerhouse GA have? Actually, you made my case. How does an area with one of the top 3 leagues in the country not get national respect? Perception. Big stadiums, big crowds, loud bands make the perception big. This leads to false evaluations. This is fact and you know it. It is common for humans to process like this. Well, if I championed a paper tiger, I guess I would too. Let me explain this to you, listen up. The fans of the Big North United see better football played week in and week out than any TX fans do. There simply is no league in TX where relevant national games are played as a matter of course. isn't that wild? Let me reword and repeat this. All those big crowds, in palatial stadiums, with giant bands and scores of cheerleaders are generally rallying around football that is inferior to that played here in NJ, in the Big North. Swallow that, Texan.

No one cares about the pre, preseason rankings, we all know it's bc teams have not turned in their data. Once that happens NJ will fall back into its rightful place...behind GA. Texas is bigger, and better represented at all levels, preseason, mid season and postseason than NJ. And icing on the cake: our stadiums and crowds are much better as well. Not sure what else needs to be said, every recruiting sight validates this widely held opinion. keep trying Nor, you keep speaking it, maybe it will come true one day. "NJHSFB is relevant!"
