I agree. Life is to short to dictate my beliefs onto someone else's life. The question we need to ask of ourselves is "what if I'm wrong, who, and how will it affect others lives"? If my answer is I don't give a shit about other peoples lives then I need to rethink how I can live in a free society. If you are happy with yourself, and others are not, then you my have a problem.
