Just don’t see many Jersey guys commit there. yeah been there once and went to school in Indiana..Not a very aesthetically pleasing campus and West Lafayette is out there. BUFORDGAWOLVES
Purdue has a nice blue collar ethic/culture and the campus and town has everything a student athlete can ask for coupled with an OUTSTANDING engineering program. Well done young man, welcome to the "cradle of quarterbacks". Coach Brohm just signed that FAT extension and the program is in upswing... stable program. Again well done, BGW

Don’t think he ever actually played there and was only on the team for a year or two from what I could find. @Mickeybern can you think of anyone else? I can't think of anyone..you know it is a tough draw for the Boilermakers..if you are of D1 talent and a Big 10 caliber player then you have a tremendous amount of options and Purdue doesn't have the reputation. Nolebull813
Len Dawson and Bob Griese. With Brees as a shoe in, Purdue will have 3 quarterbacks in the NFL Hall of Fame
golfaddict1
Rutgers has a verbal for the 2020 class from PA https://247sports.com/player/evan-simon-46050571/ Mark Herrmann was a talented QB at Purdue. His NFL career isn’t worth googling, but he had a NFL career.

His other high D1 offers were BC, Cal, Cincy, Kansas, MSU, UNC, Pitt, RU, Temple and WVU, To each his own. Does NFL QB history decide a recruit’s fate or an actual committable offer? Michigan State seems to be all in on the dual threat QB from Gilbert AZ, Chubba Purdy. https://spartanavenue.com/2019/06/19/michigan-state-football-coaching-staff-taking-risk-chubba-purdy/ QB verbal offers list gets outdated fast and especially this time of year. Forget the offers list and look at who’s verbaled. West VA he visited and they have a verbal commit. Penn state he visited in the past and they have a 2020 verbal. BC he never visited. Cincy has a 2020 verbal. NC has a verbal. This is per Rivals info. The last thing on his mind is probably NFL QB history.

It's really painful watching that guy and some of these other idiots try to talk about football. You are going to have to admit that point sooner or later. Purdue is a solid choice. 1
