Las Vegas_JC
https://www.vype.com/txhsfb-2639821410 “As frequent as athletes announce commitments to colleges on social media, also has become the trend of announcing transferring to a new high school. In Houston and across the state, it is no longer a random occurrence but becoming more of a popular trend. Houston ISD programs have been particularly hit hard this summer, losing three top athletes - Demond Demas (North Forest), Bobby Taylor (Houston Heights) and Darryl Brown Jr. (Yates) - to a transfer out of the district prior to the start of the 2019 football season. All three were either national recruits or already committed.”

According to the Dallas Morning News report, defensive lineman Casey Irons (Colorado State-commit) returned to Gilmer after the District 8-6A Executive Committee ruled against him. Linebacker Jaqwondis Burns and 2022 defensive lineman Keithian Alexander, who both transferred from Terrell, were ruled ineligible for one year of varsity competition and were ruled to have transferred for athletic purposes.”

Texasball
WulfTangClan Advanced Member Members 272 804 posts Report post Posted 1 hour ago Demand Demas found ineligible for Tomball. Word on the street is he'd like to be at NS, but if Tomball wasn't happening...no way NS happens. Best thing to do is go back to North Forest. Or hit up St Pius X. Texasball
Today is actually the day that the UIL votes on the transfers that was not handled at the district level or that is protested.

Champa
Supposedly it was the North Forrest coach that kept Demas from playing at Tomball. Not sure how I feel about that. I've heard he is still staying at Tomball, but not sure how reliable that source on that information is.

Texasvic
Desmond will stay at tomball. His words. North forest is nothing compared to tomball academically. Uil cited his siblings staying in north forest and him moving with his grandpa who lives in tomball after he had some issues at home. Also stop with the bs that he wanted to be at north shore. That was just a lie made up in a forum lol.
