Mallard Creek @ Gaffney

This will be the best gauge of where Mallard Creek is as a team since the Dutch Fork game. The Creek beat a down Butler team and had another walkover this past week so it will be interesting to see where they stand against the #2 in South Carolina. Playing SC’s #1 and #2 both on the road should get them ready for conference play. Of course, according to one of the posters it’s simply one irrelevant state’s best playing another irrelevant states #2 team. Maybe one day they will have the opportunity to play one of the relevant private powerhouse NJ schools.

They will certainly have a size advantage so I agree they should be run heavy this week. Their new OC likes to be balanced and will find and exploit your weakness. MC hasn’t had this type of professional calling plays in a few years. They won’t have Trent Simpson running quite as much as the Dutch Fork game. His primary position is LB and most of his time will be spent on defense. May bring him in for a few plays on offense if they need a spark.

If you want an easy win just schedule any Louisiana Top 5 team , that state is an easy win

New Jersey schools lol .. Our Region use to be rated as the best region in the country.  When Gaffney, Spartanburg, Byrnes, Dorman, Boiling Springs, North Western and Rock Hill all was in the same region.  Gaffney hss 17 state Championships. MORE THEN ANY FOOTBALL TEAM IN SOUTH CAROLINA   New Jersey schools wouldn't stand a chance against The Upstate teams week in and week out.  Gaffney did have one of their best players get hurt Friday night and will be out a few weeks .. I'm not sure how that wiii affect Gaffney this Friday.

This should be a great football Game

Gaffney beat Dutch Fork in the State Championship game 3 or 4 years ago .. So Dutch Fork doesn't have anything on Gaffney

Gaffney also beat Byrnes in the regular season and in the state Championship game ..

The Stadium will be full friday night

How many non Public state championships does your team have? .. AND ISN'T NON PUBLIC SCHOOL Cheating when they recruit players and compete with a Non recruit team.

In Gaffney We don't have to cheat to win Championships..  We have 17

And a 10 million dollar stadium for our kids to enjoy and be PROUD of.. We don't have to recruit.

You can't get over in BigGaffneyIndian..

New Jersey lol .. I would've atleast said Florida or Texas

BigGaffneyIndian knows football!

Btw Thank You for the Welcome

a couple thoughts

1 all private schools recruit. They HAVE TO recruit. They are private schools!

2 Maybe take a look at USA Today season ending polls for the past 35 years, that will give you a clue as to the quality of NJ football over the years. Your top 5 programs over this time frame simply can't measure up to NJ's top 5.

3) All nationally relevant programs have advantages. This is just a fact. Don't be wasting everyone's time with that "they recruit" stuff.  If you want to speak to only public school teams, that is fine. But to walk through the door as a sore loser? Not a good look.
